UN makes power play against Trump

International governments have made a power play against Donald Trump by ratifying an international climate deal earlier than expected, effectively preventing him from canceling the deal as he has promised to do. The European Unions Tuesday decision to join the Paris climate deal will push the deal over the threshold for ratification; it will formally take effect in 30 days.
That means Trump, should he be elected president in November, could not cancel or renegotiate the terms of the agreement.
President Obama committed the United States to reduce its emissions by 26 percent to 28 percent by 2025 as part of the deal. The agreement is nonbinding, so Trump would be free to ignore it if he wins the White House.

I hope Trump will shut down the UN. They are a parasitic and destructive organization. Trump is an expert on real estate who should take back the building and convert that eyesore to a positive business purpose.

They are full of b.s. President Trump could obtain a declaration from a Republican Congress that the treaty has NEVER been ratified by the USA since Obola refused to submit it as a treaty for Senate approval.
Indeed, a simple executive declaration of the same would suffice.
The b.s. UN cannot force the US govt to follow a treaty we never ratified. Whose army will force our obedience? President Trump says to the UN: F-—U !!!

bama’s promise to cut “greenhouse gas emissions” is not binding to Trump. No matter what liberals wish to believe, Obama CANNOT bind the US to treaties.

All he would have to do is submit it to the Senate. When they fail to ratify, he can declare it legally dead.

“effectively preventing him from canceling the deal as he has promised to do.”
complete nonsense. no “international agreement” with the U.S. is worth the toilet paper it’s printed on unless ratified by 2/3 of the U.S. Senate.

An agreement is not a treaty. It has no force of law. Trump needs to bulldoze the UN and put in a skating rink. And then nuke the Saudis.
The exact order isn't important.
