I won’t tell. Shhhhhhh!
It does make a stunning wallpaper. I can almost hear the waves lapping against the rocks. :-)
I like this one as well because it really puts your life on a big area with room to deal with it. :^)
My neighbor got a hold of it and prints and gave me one. My sister asked for it.
I don’t even have the print. I guess it was good.
I walked beyond the barricades and got really low for this one. I needed the summer flowers and the cliff effect on my dog below.
I didn’t stay long as not to influence anyone else. That drop off those flowers was a good 200ft.
We get some nice sunsets here when the clouds are right. There was a beauty this past Easter evening. It's the only time I've seen the rays splayed that way along the clouds.
And with that, I guess I need to scoot. It takes a little while to get the litter boxes scooped and cats settled before heading to bed and it's after 4 a.m. already. Where did the night go?!!
It's been great to see you tonight. Been a while. Hope you have a fantabulous weekend!
The flowers are what really set it off. They’re so pretty and add just the right color contrast with the water.
Glad you didn’t get in trouble for crossing the barricades. But yikes! That was a pretty good drop that was at your feet! Makes me dizzy to even think about it. Heights are not my friend. LOL!
It’s all good. Goodnite
LOL! You’re gonna make it hard to get away for bed with all your beautiful photos. That one makes one long for a road trip. *sigh*
Good night to you and sleep well.
Hope to see you again soon!
:^) That’s what it’s all about. Everyone has a responsibility to live.
Yikes! Those things made me itch! LOL!
Mine don’t swell much...they just drive me ‘round the bend from the itching!
WoooHoooo!! Kathy got the #200!! :)
It is cold, windy and rainy here in MA today.
A whole Saturday...WASTED!
No Motorcycle,
No Yard Sales,
No Bicycle,
Not even any nice walks in the Autumn Woods with Lynn-Dah.
Grrrrrr
Thank you, Kathy. :)
I hope to be able to contribute something from time to time that would make our soldiers happy.
Thank you for all of your hard work on behalf of the nation’s finest!

ANNALS OF THE CHINESE AIR FORCE
AVG (American Volunteer Group - The Flying Tigers)
Here’s a YouTube video about the search for the Chinese National Airlines Flight 53. I don’t know who to thank for it, but it’s a nice summary of CNAC and, to a lesser extent, of the AVG. (The gun camera footage illustrating the Tigers is actually from the days of the China Air Task Force and the 14th Air Force, not the AVG.) With Chinese sub-titles. A search party found the wreck in 1997. The video is narrated by Fletcher Hanks, who flew for CNAC during the war and who inspired the search for the wreck of his friend’s DC-3.

I have a favor to ask, and I'm sorry to post it here, but I do have a reason.
Some of you might be aware that after a pit bull attack in Montreal, a law was passed virtually outlawing the breed. As a result, many dogs even resembling pit bulls will be put down in Montreal starting Monday.
A lovely young woman named Marisa, who is practically my sister's adopted daughter (a neighbor, godmother of her grandson), is a beautiful person and a heck of a dog lover. She's trying to raise money to rent a van, drive to Montreal, and rescue some of these dogs. She has a GoFundMe page for it:
https://www.gofundme.com/2s6rh3ee.
I made a separate thread on FR, and the response has been ...
Well, let's just say, I've NEVER been so DISAPPOINTED with Free Republic in the 18 years I've been on it.
People don't like pit bulls, I get it. So they go out of their way to post "Put them down" and "Let them die".
Or some reason think that it you would raise money to save dogs, you must not give a damn about unborn babies.
What the hell is wrong with people?
And it isn't just the newbs! I checked a couple random people, and a couple joined FR back in 2000!
Anyway, I'm trying to help a friend who's very passionate about something, and she's a really, good person. She was the biggest rock our family rested on when my niece died even though she was torn apart inside that she had just lost her best friend.
By the way, if you want to see the worst in your fellow FR members, check out the replies on this thread http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3475544/posts.
Thank you everyone.
Sorry for venting.
Please help Marisa.
“Luv, the mosquitoes love me, too.”
Ah, that can only mean that you are still young and fresh meat! Lucky You! ;-)

Mrs. I was at a meeting and “chattin’” until late, daughter was in her room doing something or other on her computer most of the evening - and I had no idea where to find kindof classical music having anything to do with “trucking” - a fiendish topic - about the closest I got before giving up was “Surrey With the Fringe on Top” - it was nice to be missed though.....
