Tell Us Your Favorite "Truck or Trucking" Songs
*Video*
Joe Diffie ~ Pickup Man
Well, I got my first truck when I was three Drove a hundred thousand miles on my knees Hauled marbles and rocks and thought twice before I hauled a Barbie Doll bed for the girl next door She tried to pay me with a kiss and I began to understand There's something women like about a pickup man
When I turned sixteen, I saved a few hundred bucks My first car was a pickup truck I was cruising the town and the first girl I seen Was Bobbie Jo Gentry, the homecoming queen She flagged me down and climbed up in the cab And said, "I never knew you were a pickup man".

Grateful Dead ~ Truckin'
Truckin' got my chips cashed in. Keep truckin', like the do-dah man Together, more or less in line, just keep truckin' on.
Arrows of neon and flashing marquees out on Main Street. Chicago, New York, Detroit and it's all on the same street. Your typical city involved in a typical daydream Hang it up and see what tomorrow brings.
Dallas, got a soft machine; Houston, too close to New Orleans; New York's got the ways and means; but just won't let you be, oh no.
Most of the cast that you meet on the streets speak of true love, Most of the time they're sittin' and cryin' at home. One of these days they know they better get goin' Out of the door and down on the streets all alone.

Sign says clearance to the twelve-foot line, but the chickens was stacked to thirteen-nine. Well we shot that tunnel at a hundred-and-ten, like gas through a funnel and eggs through a hen, and we took that top row of chickens off slicker than scum off a Lousiana swamp.

Yes, we do and now I wish I hadn’t been sipping my diet coke all evening, ‘cause I need to get up earlier tomorrow morning and I’m not a bit sleepy!
But guess I’d better try anyway. So...talk tomorrow? I still have to pick some tunes. Geez...I’m totally out of it this week! LOL!

I feel for ya having to get up early again. Doesn’t help that you’re full of caffeine tonight. LOL
Good thing I don’t have to get up early. I’ve been listening to the Comey hearing and adrenaline due to anger is pumping hard. It might take a few trips up and down the driveway (a tenth of a mile each way) to calm down enough to go to sleep by sunrise!
Good night and sleep well. See ya tomorrow night.

Not much sleep this week, but I’m ready to close it down now.
Supposed to be high 30s tonight and mid 50s tomorrow afternoon. Posible rain on Sunday. I don’t want more rain, as I don’t want any ice driving to work.
Sleep well when you get there.
