Intelligence Specialist 2nd Class Janaye Ervin is currently facing potential administrative action for failing to show respect to Americas national symbols, Military.com reports.
According to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickman spokesman Bill Doughty, Ervin would not stand for the national anthem while in full uniform Sept. 19.

On September 19,2016, while in uniform, I made the conscious decision to not stand for the Star Spangled Banner because I feel like a hypocrite, singing about land of the free when, I know that only applies to some Americans, Ervin wrote in a Facebook post. I will gladly stand again, when ALL AMERICANS are afforded the same freedom. The Navy has decided to punish me for defending the Constitution

Yep.
You are free to find another job.
Big Chicken Dinner is what she deserves.
Because blacks cannot commit crimes against others and be able to run away from the police. Thats why they arent fre. Free to get away with anarchy and violence.
Administrative separation for good of the service. Pull the security clearance now.
and unless and until there are real consequences, it will only get worse
same-same that mutt on the 49ers, look how that's spread
Yep, if there’s any question about their loyalty to the U. S, and thereby the intent to perform in a time of crisis, these people need to be drummed out.
Under the right circumstances, they may want to sabotage us too.
The purpose of the Uniform Code of Military Justice is primarily “To maintain good order and discipline in the military”. For this reason seemingly minor offenses can carry much greater punishment than others that are seen as far more serious in civilian courts.
Article 134. General article
“Though not specifically mentioned in this chapter, all disorders and neglects to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces, all conduct of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces, and crimes and offenses not capital, of which persons subject to this chapter may be guilty, shall be taken cognizance of by a general, special, or summary court-martial, according to the nature and degree of the offense, and shall be punished at the discretion of that court.”
Shocked, I tell you.
Cue the Hunt for Red October Admiral.
Especially an oxymoron in this case!
Can anyone explain to my why a sailor needs to wear camo? Are they trying to be invisible if they fall overboard?
< Yes, the military does own you. Go out and get a bad sunburn and see what happens.
I visited the sailor’s Facebook page. For an “intelligence specialist” who supposed to be security constentious, handling national security information who is wupposed to be cautious in general, she is an idiot. Using just a few clues on her page she gave me all the info I needed to track her down and blackmail her if I were an enemy agent. Also enough info to find out where her hangouts are. He security clearance needs to be revoked. She is a serious security risk.
I wanted to go to her Facebook page and post a few comment under some aliases but she has it set so no one can post anything she disagrees with. I wanted to ask her: 1) what are these rights you and our friends are being denied? then mention living conditions in Ghana one of her favorite countries because of Hollywood bull$hittery, 2) do you really think you, as a soldier are superior to the other soldiers in your unit that would rescue you if you were captures behind enemy lines, 3) why do you feel America is “bad” and if you do why do you serve in their military?, 4) are you considering defecting to ISIS (if yes, do you know how ISIS treats its women really), 4) do you know who George Soros is? (answer: “no”); he’s the very, very rich white asshole who’s fooled people into hating each other by staging shootings, paying for donuts and coffee, hotel rooms, riot trainers, etc... to get you to react to your primal instincts without any thought or consideration about being manipulated, and 5) now you see you’ve been so easily fooled and manipulated why in the hell should you be entrusted with state secrets or classified intel?
Some rear admiral has already got a WH call: “Leave her alone. No. Promote her.”
PS Remember the West Point black women cadets?
What happened there? Anything?
Privilege, friends.
Air-Head!
Throw the scum overboard. Sharks gotta eat.
Re “Has the rot gone that deep that someone thinks they can do this in the service”?
Apparently you haven’t been following the PC/pansy career of the Secy of the Navy. He’s the worst SecyNav I’ve ever heard of.
Considering that I’ve had the honor to meet and lunch with such great men as Adm. John McCain Jr (CINCPAC/VN); Arleigh Burke; Dan Galley; and other Navy greats, I can say that Mabus is the worst Secy of any Military Department in modern history and one of the stupidest on top.
And the rest of the DOD isn’t much better (Dempsey, Secy AF (the PC crowd); the Marine Corps until recently - got a new guy who seems to be a fight; and some of the Army - look at how the combat commanders have been driven out or charged with various things to the point that we have very few veteran senior commanders left).
Thank God that former head of DIA Gen. Michael Flynn is talking back to the PC aholes, liberal know-nothings, and Marxist traitors. The same for former CIA director James Woolsey, but the rest of the bunch are either for Obama/Hillary or are too cowardly to tell America what is really happening to our military and how it is systematically being degraded or diminished by too expensive/low performance super craft.
I’m glad that my father-in-law died before a lot of this shit happened. He was not only a veteran of Iwo but also wasone of the highest ranking Intelligence officers in Europe during the Cold War.
He knew who the enemy was and fought them tooth and nail. And I know that he ran a tight outfight. Mens’ lives, including his own, depended on him being “the best”, not the most “PC”.
And this is what we have defending our country?
