Intelligence Specialist 2nd Class Janaye Ervin is currently facing potential administrative action for failing to show respect to Americas national symbols, Military.com reports.
According to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickman spokesman Bill Doughty, Ervin would not stand for the national anthem while in full uniform Sept. 19.

On September 19,2016, while in uniform, I made the conscious decision to not stand for the Star Spangled Banner because I feel like a hypocrite, singing about land of the free when, I know that only applies to some Americans, Ervin wrote in a Facebook post. I will gladly stand again, when ALL AMERICANS are afforded the same freedom. The Navy has decided to punish me for defending the Constitution

Court martial, dishonorable discharge.
What Americans are not free?
Hahahaha! did they say “intelligence specialist?” She sure looks the part /not.
You know, that thing about taking the oath when you enlisted, yeah, that one. So your word means nothing at all then.
LOL I had to read that again. They do allow every moron now into the Navy. Intelligence specialist my ass.
Anyone still wonder what the military would do if ordered to fire on US citizens?
I still salute the flag and it’s been almost 50 years since I was in uniform. I will continue to do so as long as my right arm will go up that high.
I totally agree with you
Not worthy to wear that uniform.
This one is easy. She’s admitted her guilt.
When I joined the military in June 1968, the first thing I was told was that the “rights” I had were the ones the Navy issued to me.
Delivering babies at the family medicine center on aircraft carriers, trannys and homos everywhere. Anything remotely associated with manhood or Christianity under assault. And “sailors” like this.
This folks, is the navy today. An embarrassing shadow of what once was.
Oh, noes. Your Big Chicken Dinner won’t actually have any chicken. Or chitterlings. Or greens. Sorry to disappoint.
“Court martial, dishonorable discharge.”
I agree. And afterwards send them to Cuba or Iran.
This is the beginning of another statistical disparity case for the left. “Oh, boo hoo! Minorities in the USN receive disciplinary action at a rate xxx% more often than honkies.”
Initiating action that conveys victimhood status can thus be made to pay in the long term too!
Then again I NEVER had one of my people at Captain's Mast after I made LT, active or reserve. They were squeaky clean individuals knew they had a good deal in the Navy.
