If presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton slips into a coughing fit or any other medical crisis during Monday's high-stakes debate, she will have to power through, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned!
"There are no commercial breaks," a commission source explains. "Period."
Debate moderator Lester Holt does not have the authority to cut away from the stage during the epic 90-minute showdown. And microphone audio for either of the candidates is not to be manipulated.
Clinton has experienced severe coughing episodes throughout the election year. During a Labor Day campaign stop she suffered a 4-minute choking marathon.
Monday's throwdown could top out at 100 million viewers, making it the biggest political event in history.

Am picturing Trump entering first and heading to her elevated position. That would make him considerably taller and he could gratuitously step down and give her the booster stool

Always a bad idea on a stage when the lights change and iris of eye must adjust to the change
Sudden Bright lights always causes a temporary blindness even for a normal person.
It is important to keep a level stage and give height appearance by placement or other optic illusions

If they are going to have the traditional pre- or post-debate handshake, the height differential will show up then. Incidentally, in the TV era, voters have traditionally backed the taller candidate in perhaps a subliminal quest for superiority.
Trump should - by no means - venture to Hillary’s podium for a handshake or anything else due to the Lazio trick. Make her meet you in the middle of the stage for the handshake.
Why have a stool? If HRC were to win will she expect Putin to provide a stool when they meet?
If HRC was a real leader (and she’s obviously not) her stature would be overcome.
So, 5’ 4” - how much does to weigh?
What’s interesting is the fact they’re even stating what would ‘ordinarily be a given’ in a Presidential debate at this Juncture.
So are they already staging this for her to cancel?
Wait. Think about that one. She will have to stand the whole time. It is a given Clintons get preferential treatment, but no breaks and she has to stand? It will look so weird. She will probably be in her North Korean garb to hide all of her baggage.

It would be great if they allowed IV drips. She could drip the fluid into her like it drips out. Maybe they could allow, while the camera is on Trump, nurses to race to her like ball girls in tennis matches, and change out the bags super fast.

Just a thought. The coughing reflex is almost subconscious. When you hear someone cough, you too are more likely to cough or clear your throat. I wonder if Trump could have perhaps three people in the audience cough or clear their throats periodically during the debates and see if her subconscious takes off from there.
Then they can deny it was planned. “Yeah, I coughed. It’s my sinuses. It’s the weather. It wasn’t (ahem) intentional.”

(The difference is Hillary was ‘demanding ‘a stool so ‘she’ has concerns over the optics of Trump towering over her in stature. Though they denied her this a “custom made podium” still go her demands met.)
“That would seem a foolish gamble to make her appear frail. It’s lost her votes, from her drops in the polls since then.”
Thought about that, too, But lies are their first go-to, and they’re used to excreting them large. Big Media has still been dutifully reporting at worst a “statistical tie” with Trump up by 1 or 2. When Hitlery is up by 1 or 2, she’s “ahead”.
I’m just guessing really, but like I said, their first instinct is to lie and deceive. It’s who they are, it’s what they do.
Big Media already has the script to declare her the winner of the debate anyway, no matter what happens.

I do predict she will be fine during the debate. Everyone is joking about her fainting or falling over. She’s got this. 90 minutes. There will be no cough. She will sound fresh as a daisy listening to her earpiece. Low expectations for her only help her.
I hope I am wrong tho. I’d like an exploding pee bag, one eye wandering off the stage, and a grand mal seizure. But I think she will pull it off “well” with help from an earpiece and lots of happy juice.
And Trump could have a nurse too. One of those little sexy nurses in high heels. All he would need is a top hat and cane.
