Seven weeks before Election Day, the earliest numbers from advance voting for president show initial strength for Hillary Clinton in swing state North Carolina, good news for Donald Trump in battleground Iowa and a record number of requests for ballots in Ohio.

It is insane that “early voting” begins in the middle of Sept - almost 2 months ahead of the actual election day!
Not only leaves too much time for mischief - but imagine all of the events that could take place in the meantime.
I can see leaving a few days in advance for convenience, but even so, there are steps in place for absentee ballots in case someone cannot make it to their local polling place on the day of.
50+ days out? Ridiculous.
I’m no prophet but NC doesn’t worry me as much as va or pa.
Short answer: no. Check liberal Elon NC poll today. Trump up 1. They missed left in 2012 and 2014.
NC early voting does NOT start until Oct. 20 how can they see anything NOW!!!!
AP: harbinger of all truth and knowledge.
anyone who votes for Hillary this early, before the first debate, would vote for her even if she were dead.
They’re already counting votes? I know they vote early but didn’t know they counted them as they came in.
Correct!
I hate early and absentee balloting, I’d only use if absolutely necessary. I’m walking into the polling station, signing my name, and pulling for Trump. They want to mess with my vote I’m not going to make it as easy as tossing it in the trash
Early voting, absentee voting, on-site registration - all terrible and destructive ideas that will destroy the Republic.
how do they know ,unless they already opened the ballots
I think the article is BOVINE MANURE...
Since the voting hasn’t started in NC yet, AP must be pre-counting the ballots they are going to “find” in the trunk of some car with a H-> sticker on the bumper.
Absentee voting starts here in Fairfax County, VA on September 23.

They’re going by how many ballots were returned and party breakout. Shows how sure they are Dems will stay in line. Personally I think many of those Dems will be for Trump.
PA will never go REPUBLICAN
A newbie handwringer I see.
Trump will win NC bigger than Minion did in 2012. Easy.
And does not include Independents, where Trump leads up to 20 in some polls.
Not concerned.
