The point here is that the media is saying that this is no big deal and that New Yorkers just went about their business. They are used to all this. It sure did not look like they thought it was no big deal.
They were all white, so they were probably all Trump supporters.

How can New Yorkers react to the bombing if they were not notified of it? New Yorkers went about their business because the media was not doing their business.
A friend didn't find out about the bombing till 2 am when she turned on BBC radio.

When I was a kid, me and buddies would make bigger bombs that this by mixing black power and smokeless powder in a section of 2 inch pipe.
That was WAY BACK when...when kids could be kids.
Giving their public credibility is going to hell in a handbasket, it might be reasonable to look into whether the fifth-column media was involved in the bombing.

It's all relative. If the measure is number of deaths, it is not a big deal. But judging from the press obsession of the moment, this, the NJ bomb, and the Minnesota stabbings are the only subjects being covered, this is a big deal.
Were there no news alerts on 2, 4, 5, 7 9 11 ? I know while I watched FOX NC 9 to 10 PM there were College Football games on several channels.

It seems that this happens mostly in states where people are the most clueless and the most supportive of letting more moslems in. Places like New York, Minnesota and California. Will they ever get it? I have serious doubts they ever will.

We need a leader like Trump will protect citizens from incompetent lawmakers who won’t lift a finger to vet aliens that are possibly a threat to citizens.
So - there is a full-on investigation into this bombing.... And IF the perpetrators are found, they will stand trial (if they survive the apprehension efforts) and likely serve time...
Bill Ayers planted bombs of this very magnitude and never served a day in prison, nor stood trial... instead, he got to be someone who helped mold and train up the young Barack Hussein Obama... who has been one of the strongest supporters of terrorists around the world... How convenient...
