Donald Trump surprises Dr. Oz with results of recent physical

Donald Trump, a master showman, surprised the "Dr. Oz Show" studio audience on Wednesday by revealing the results of a recent physical exam.

The "Oz" episode, taped on Wednesday morning, will not air until Thursday. But a campaign spokeswoman confirmed that Trump handed Dr. Oz a one-page summary of the physical exam he underwent last week.

The physical was conducted by Dr. Harold N. Bornstein, the same doctor who previously said Trump would if elected be the healthiest president in history.

I’m ‘petite’ as they say. Last year, I got really sick - and recuping now. I wished to God I had extra weight on me. I lost 20 lbs iduring chemo and went into the 90’s. A little extra weight is ‘insurance’. Although I still only gained 10 back, my goal is to have more meat on my bones.

I have no doubt Trump’s tax returns will be leaked if it looks like Hillary is losing. That is how Obama won elections before. Now we have the NY Times publisher saying he would go to jail to get them, etc., etc.

I hope the Trump campaign is planning for it because it will happen, IMO.

Absolutely if the patient is healthy. I see them everyday. And with the advent of the EMR, without question it can fit on one page. (No I am not a doc, I just create their documents).

I lost my doctor when Obamacare was implemented. He thought Obamacare was going to be great. He quit and isn’t even practicing medicine anymore. He went into research. Hated the new paperwork I guess.

I must have your doctor now. It’s the quickest exams I’ve ever had and I’m not a youngster.

Specialists like Gastoenterologists are MD’S and do full physicals like any other MD.

and this is what I think he is going to do with his tax returns. just a hunch.

I think he’s going to rope-a-dope them at a convenient time and show just how much he HAS given to charity.

He’s a showman, let them build up build up, and let them make this their MAIN talking point against him, then WHAMMO drop that return on their heads like Hiroshima and own that weeks news cycle as well.

I sent my medical records to dr. Oz.

He mailed me back a brochure for caskets.

for years our family doctor was a gastro

of course our kids had pediatricians when they were little.

the one I use now for myself (my main doctor) is an endocrinologist and my wifes main doctor is a hemo (something?) he’s a blood doctor but is her physician as well.

It’s not that uncommon here in Chicago (maybe NY is the same) for a specialist to be your main doctor as well. Then if you need something else, if you have an HMO they give you a referral to another specialist. Ours is a PPO, so we can hop around to whoever we like without a referral. I guess it just depends on where you live maybe.

The electronic medical record vomits out about one meaningful sentence per every 20 pages.

I get an annual medical..(Kaiser)..do the blood draw at 8am...and by the time I get home 50 mins later the results are coming in by e-mail

Complete with table of all results going back 10 years...so I can graph the results and see the trends...good stuff trending up and bad stuff trending down..

Final report from my Doc comes in a few days later....one page....listing of all results and normal values.....and the comment "all within normal range"
