ESPN sports pundit Paul Finebaum apologized for saying black people aren’t oppressed in America.
“I really don’t understand, not to look at the country back then, this country has issues, but this country is not oppressing black people,” Finebaum said during an appearance on ESPN.
He is now backing off of his comments.
“I could spend the rest of my life trying to talk my way out of it, but I can’t. I blew it. I simply did not have a good grasp of the situation. I know better. I’ve lived in this country. I see what is going on all across the country from north to south, east to west, and I have no excuse,” the outspoken pundit said.
Even the proverbial blind squirrel gets the nut every now and then. He might not do anything good with the nut, but he gets it.

Finebaum must be a proper good liberal not to have been suspended or fired for his comments.
He works for ESPN. Goose step along to the party line or get beheaded. Those are his two choices.
Finebaum is right, and his message really hits home with me. Tonight, when I get home from work I’m finally going to do it... Yep, I’m going to free my slaves.
Fact is... I’m tired of being The Man. It takes a lot of work ‘keeping them down’. Would rather take up a new hobby, like clubbing baby seals.

i treat other people of different races with respect, and expect the same.
