We will not, at any time, debate the science of climate change
Three professors co-teaching an online course called Medical Humanities in the Digital Age at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs recently told their students via email that man-made climate change is not open for debate, and those who think otherwise have no place in their course.
The point of departure for this course is based on the scientific premise that human induced climate change is valid and occurring. We will not, at any time, debate the science of climate change, nor will the other side of the climate change debate be taught or discussed in this course, states the email, a copy of which was provided to The College Fix by a student in the course.
Signed by the courses professors Rebecca Laroche, Wendy Haggren and Eileen Skahill,

The professors also note this ban on debate extends to discussion among students in the online forums

Those demanding tolerance and inclusiveness showing intolerance and exclusion. My, my...
If it’s an elective, eff them and take a different course. It’s not like there’s a shortage of elective courses to choose from.
If it’s a required course, sue.
I would just love it if one or two Christians (definitely NOT students) walked into the class and BOLDLY stood up and said
“I rebuke you and your false teachings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ”
“Get behind me Satan!”
College professors are mostly pompous asses. They are the smartest of the smart. They attend faculty cocktail parties and tell each other that.
It certainly has a "science-y" feel to it, doesn't it?
I searched their entire course catalog, and couldn't seem to find the course. Did they "remove it for technical reasons?"
One, I wouldn't be swayed to even consider such a course, and two, I would drop it based on such a premise faster than you could say "Al Gore."
Those who demand tolerance and inclusion of what righteous people abhor, now show intolerance and exclusivity towards the same group.
I wonder if they will answer questions...
It’s actually “Climate Cha-ching”
I recall that Galileo had to deal with this attitude also.
A professor that needs to be fired, and/or @$$whipped.
To be fair, the first test for 50 percent of grade was multiple choice and I got an A.
But it was HARD so for the final I decided to do a paper which sucked, and got a C, for an overall B.
Darndest thing, he was socially quite outspoken in conservative thinking. VERY liberal and hated republicans.
But told the class dont have kids you can’t afford and dont really want, and dont have them without a spouse.
Lots of other stuff like that. Made no sense.
Son wa against the Iraqi war but served as doctor in AFghanistan.
I took some post grad courses after brain injury to get the cells moving a little :)
First day on campus i had to break up a fight between to hispanic guys. On college grounds. Tossed one guy off the other and told them they were ####ed as it is, dont make it worse.
Had to fill out forms and ####. Dont know if they got expelled.
As recycling is a key tenet of the liberal faith, I have recently stopped recycling. I especially enjoy chucking pop bottles into the garbage right in front of them. It’s even better when there’s a recycle bin right next to the garbage bin which I could have used but chose not to. I like to use this as a way of initiating a dialogue with any liberals that may be close by. I explain to anyone that is listening that if Trump gets elected, I will start recycling again. But, if he loses, I will find more ways to increase my carbon footprint as much as possible and I will share those ways with everybody on the internet and I will start an anti-recycling movement. The liberals who know me think I’m an asshole. They’re right about that at least.
What are the odds that they signed the UCCS anti-Trump protest letter when Trump held a rally there? I’d bet that they signed it.
“114 UCCS profs signed a letter protesting a Trump rally on campus in Colorado Springs”

Those broads are nuts.
Said the prof. from the Flat Earth Society.
Big Display on him at the Smithsonian. Largely about his "heresy" and resulting persecution. WBill Jr was looking at it, and I quietly reminded him to remember this the next time someone declares "The science is settled".
Teachable moment, and he got it.
All taxpayer dollars going to this “institution” should be stopped immediately.
LaRoche-English Haggren-Chemistry Skahill-Sociology. Looks like one of three are legit to teach Science courses
Charming.
Glass? Less so, but still sensible.
Everything else? Useless feel-goodism. Waste of time. Most of it winds up in a landfill, anyway.
