Serial trophy hunter Aryanna Gourdin poses proudly alongside a majestic giraffe she has just gunned down in a picture that sparked a furious backlash from animal lovers.
But the 12-year-old, who has a string of kills to her name, defiantly vowed never to give up shooting wild beasts and churned out the disputed claim that blood sport like this is a conservation measure that stops the decline in big game numbers.
Aryanna shares the images of her and each dead creature on her Facebook page complete with captions bragging about the deaths, despite insisting she loves animals.
In one sick picture she can be seen holding the giraffes heart. And there are now plans to turn her sights on big cats.
Her boasts about killing defenceless creatures have led to a storm of criticism from around the world, with some branding her a murderer, evil and disgusting. She has even had death threats.

Indeed
Eating the drumstick may be a bit unwieldy
Bring down your game mano a mano with a knife and I’ll be impressed. Have two hunters hunt each other. Now you got a contest. We could have them do it in stadiums in Las Vegas. Get the odds where they should be- 50/50.
Until there are no Giraffes left. Then when the numbers are down, they will have to be protected to get the population numbers back up, which then leads to poaching, like the Elephants and Rhinos for their tusks.
My husband and son are hunters; deer, ducks, geese. They eat what they kill. Neither are into killing for just the sport of killing a wild animal.
I doubt she is doing this because she feels bad for their poverty and wants to help them; sounds to me more like she is on an ego trip, the thrill of a kill.
Neck too big for a soup pot
Nah, this article isn’t biased... “Gunned down?” sheesh!
Actually, that giraffe fed an entire village. She’s not just hunting for trophys.

I don’t understand trophy photos, especially the kind that social media have spawned.
Yes, I’ve become a soft man in my old age. I’m going to go hug my wild Yorkie now.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, the giraffe fed an entire village.
Saying this article is biased doesn't even begin to cover it!
I saw an interview with her. One of the big problems is that to us, these are "zoo critters." In Africa, these are like deer, and they're not endangered.

Some very great men (and women) throughout the ages thoroughly enjoyed the “thrill of the kill”. Alexander the Great, King Richard the Lionheart, George Washington, TR, Churchill, to name a few
Ha! I have one of those things in the garage somewhere
I’m surprised how many antihunting people are here on this conservative forum. Think about it this way. At least the animal has a chance, instead of sitting in a pen waiting to be your burger. Hunting is billions of years older and far more natural than all the ways we treat animals now.
That’s a very good response.
Imagine having to cook a wooly mammoth
Even animals need culling. Who cares whether its a licensed 12 y. o. trophy or a wildlife conservation department employee? After all, there’s got to be some safari bucks in this, eh?
The anti hunting crowd are idiots. These sorts of kills are licensed and they will only grant a license for an old or sick animal... The animal could die of illness or old age or they can be hunted when they reach this stage and put tens of thousands of dollars into the coffers of governments and private individuals to help protect and conserve these animals.
In the 1970s Rhinos were threatened with extinction so most of the nations of sub Saharan Africa implemented complete bans on hunting.. All except South Africa which continued to allow legal licensed hunting... Care to guess which nation is the only nation to see its Rhino numbers increase since then while the animals numbers have dropped to next to nothing nearly everywhere else??? Yep you got it, South Africa.
Hunt all you want, sweetie, just do it legally and humanely. And keep posting those trophy pics!

I like my Roast Beast on the extremely rare side before I eat it, so let me know when it’s done.
