Holy crap...
Be careful folks...
The new one near Kokomo is 7 mi SW of the city.
I have a Starbucks in my garage. Is that so bad?
Damn, this is terrible.
I hope all you good folks have shelter available... I wish you all well.
I’m glad your sis is OK.
I saw the damage in Indiana on the evening news here in Maine...it looked bad. They mentioned the Starbucks as being destroyed.
By “typical” tornado standards this one wasn’t very bad.
Elsie, does this affect you?
Prayers. But a Starbuck’s suffered a direct hit... As long as no person was injured, there is irony in that.
It’s all over except the assessment and cleanup efforts. Kokomo is a mess. The county is under a State of Emergency and several businesses and homes have been damaged. Check out Youtube, there’s a video of the local Starbucks being collapsed in on itself.
Caliph Baraq rushing in FEMA assistance as we FReep....
I’m amazed nobody was killed in that Starbucks collapse.
Wow.
Elsie, does this affect you?
It was to the north of us.
I got about .5” rain, but no wind to speak of.
I’m glad you are safe.
I just got home with a generator. No damage, but no power since 4pm.
Grabbed doggies and waited it out from a distance, but they just kept forming rotations, so I kept moving south and waited it out in Tipton.
Got pics of the one that hit south side of Kokomo but can’t post right now. Watched the funnel form and widen. Close enough to see debris flying.
Saw the second one on the south side of Kokomo with me own eyes.
Im glad you’re okay. Today could have been much worse.
