Days before candidate Donald Trump announced his intention to visit the flood ravaged area of Louisiana, he had already put in place a donation (a full 18 wheeler) of supplies for the victims of the flood.
CNN accidentally stumbled upon the donation, and Brooke Baldwin reported on it during a 90 second segment. Don’t worry, they won’t air it again:

They’ll discuss it, and determine that he didn’t donate enough, should have been at least 10 18 wheelers full. They’ll bash him for being stingy for the next 72 hours. Either that, or they’ll discover that the truck driver has a Confederate flag tattoo on his shoulder, which they will take to mean that Trump hired a Klansman to drive the truck.
They are so incompetent they can’t recognize their own bias.

If you want an argument for those not wanting to choose the lesser of two evils, I have a pretty convincing one:
If you are forced to choose between an evil Democrat and an (in your best opinion) equally evil Republican, ALWAYS choose the Republican because the Republican will at least encounter resistance, push-back and exposure from the press/popular culture but the Democrat’s misdeeds and moronic moves will be covered up or explained away. Also, the Democrats themselves will fight any Republican while the Republicans at lower levels will simply cave in to the Democrat.
So the issue becomes RAMPANT UNBRIDLED evil vs. Evil with a lock box or safety check. One is Pandora outside the box, the other is Pandora inside the box.
Obama has already announced that he has no intention of ending his vacation. As for Hillary, I suspect that she hasn't gone there yet because she CAN'T go there. Think about it: We know she has trouble with stairs and walking distances. In order to tour the devastated areas of Louisiana, she would have to navigate her way through some pretty tough terrain, stepping over debris, etc. Hillary knows she's not physically up to the task, and it would provide some very bad optics if she tried. Instead, Hillary will travel there in another week or so when they can bring her into an area that has cleaned up a bit, and they can usher her into an undamaged high school gym somewhere so she can express her "compassion."
