Paul Manafort, Donald Trump’s campaign chairman, resigned from the campaign on Friday, according to Fox News.
“This morning Paul Manafort offered, and I accepted, his resignation from the campaign. I am very appreciative for his great work in helping to get us where we are today, and in particular his work guiding us through the delegate and convention process. Paul is a true professional and I wish him the greatest success,” Trump stated in a press release on Friday.

I’m so disgusted with HRC voters. The choice is so obvious between the end of our country and a chance to restore it.
If the American people are such stupid Gibs-me-dat Socialists that they are unable to make what should be a very easy choice for Trump, they deserve their chains, their misery, their tyranny (but we don’t!).
As brilliant, as ready to save America from tyranny as DJT is, it must, at the same time, deeply sadden him. The fight for liberty should not have to be this difficult, but sadly, we know that it is.

We get to go through this fake-ass ‘election’ in November, but make no mistake.

The way I see it Paul’s forte was getting delegates for the Republican Convention. He did a magnificent job and Trump got the nomination with all the forces aligned against him.
The campaign is entering a new phase and Trump needs people attuned to this part of the campaign. IMHO it is as simple as that.
Which is why Trump supporters will have to get active in October to GOTV. One man cannot do it alone and this is simply too important. The local GOP parties won't help, they are filled with lazy patronage hacks. Trump needs to hire some grassroots organizers who can gear up a social media campaign to get supporters to become an army to get out the vote.
His apology was a smart move too.
Everyone here saying “Let Trump be Trump”, well that’s fine, but he wouldn’t have apologized if internals didn’t show it hurting him.
Now is the time to act presidential for the next 3 months.
