If my theory about his candidacy is correct then this was the only state ballot that really mattered to him and his team. Mission accomplished.
McMullin, running as an alternative to Donald Trump, filed the required 1,000 signatures on Monday to be on the ballot, Utah Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox’s office confirmed.
“Petition filed. He will be on the ballot,” Mark Thomas, Cox’s director of Elections told POLITICO moments after members of McMullin’s campaign walked into his office to file.
The deadline to file the signatures was Monday by 5 p.m. Mountain Time, 7 p.m. Easter

I was only asking for edification. You thought it was an attempt to demean the use. I don’t particularly feel Donald Trump is any of those with respect to their meanings (which are oft interpreted willy nilly and incorrectly, BTW).
Frankly, I’d already seen what the Wiki version of them is. I just wanted a direct explanation of how Donald Trump either fits, or doesn’t fit their meanings.
There is more to this then meets the eye. I cannot put my finger on it, but Utah is only a piece of the puzzle.
However, what I see happening, and no one is even looking at it is Trump winning New York. Hillary has to win NYC, but with Guiliani campaigning with Trump, he can siphon off enough Democrat white collar workers to take the state. Throw in Hillary being a carpetbagger and failing on her promise to create 200,000 jobs in NY if elected and you have a formula for victory.
Souring me, too. That guy-—Billiard Head—is going to get the bald vote, for sure.
A normal Republican will pull 500,000 to 700,000 votes out of Utah. A normal Democrat will pull 200,000 to 250,000 votes out of Utah.
If you throw McMullin into this mix....he might convince 5,000 to 10,000 Republicans to vote in this manner. But I just can’t see him pulling 250,000 votes and eliminating Trump from winning the state.
Mormons are cultists. They will do as told and vote for this Hillary’s SCOTUS enabling dirt bag.
Question: If he just turned in his petition under the wire, have they had a chance to validate the signatures yet?

I’m curious is an anti-Trump message actually preached through the local Mormon temples—or do Mormon voters just pick up and act on statements from Romney and the like?
Either way, if Trump’s style didn’t clash with the Mormon sense of politeness, I don’t think he’d be in as much trouble in Nevada as he is.
