Whatever this country's sins are, they are few and far from the kind of bigotry and hatred elsewhere in the world.
I completely reject the notion that the country needs to be torn down to be rebuilt into a truly 'color-blind' society. This thinking was also encouraged by the Russians as they used it to help destroy the common values that bind us all together and leave us with anarchy.
The American culture fought the Nazi's and kept the west free. Without it, the world is left with tyranny. The truth is that the left is wrong and the founding fathers are correct. We need to push their wrong and destructive ideas away with both hands.

I totally agree with you Nachum. We have built the greatest “city on a hill” in the history of mankind. But the Great Society welfare programs of the 60’s, the rise of 60’s inspired liberalism, the death of our predominant judeo-christian culture, no fault divorce and the general erosion of western values have helped create the current chaos in our culture. The lack of strong black fathers as well as the pandering by liberal politicians have also contributed to this erosion. I recently had a very intelligent gov’t scientist, who spends over half of his time in W. Africa, tell me we are headed that way. We are rapidly becoming a 3rd world nation. Daniel Moynihan’s dream of the American melting pot is no longer taught in our schools and identity politics predominate. Blacks are wanting to self segregate in our colleges and universities and spew hatred towards the very people who helped lift them from slavery and dependence.

Those are the people I really feel bad for. There is a significant portion of people in those areas who want to work, make a living, pay their bills, and support a family.
