According to the Cumberland Times-News, Manchin told town hall attendees that gun control should be governed by common sense. He then criticized constitutional carry, suggesting that more criminals will carry, now that the law does not require a permit. Manchin said, Before, we always knew who we were chasing the bad guy but we knew most of the people didnt have a gun concealed, and if they did, they were responsible. We dont know that anymore. So Im for responsible gun control.

From the headline we glean this simple "How stupid of me not to get it." understanding of the 2nd Amendment. "A well regulated militia......" in liblogic 101 is construed to extend to, if the militia is well regulated, then, by rote, the firearms they may have access to should also be well regulated. Boy are we stoopid or what?

I'd suggest we go in chronological order.
Let's eliminate the 1st amendment for all Democrats and Liberals first.
(Do I *really* need the /sarc> tag?)

Little Joey is just another damn Democrat pulling a juggling act trying to balance his leftist views with an essentially conservative constituency.

Lyin' Joe Munchkin, blathering again. What part of "shall not be infringed" do you not understand? We the People are tired of your nonsense; that's why we vote for gun freedom candidates. Take a look at our Legislature, Lyin' Joe: It loos a bit different from you.
Hey NRA! How do you like your "Second Amendment Hero" now?

I think he’s exactly right - the Second does need more regulation. For the militia to have meaning, we need to ensure that every adult with sound mind and body not only has the right to keep and bear a firearm, but actually does so, and has the training to be effective with it.

and just how does this fool think he will be able to enforce any further unconstitutional restrictions on Americans’ rights to keep AND BEAR firearms
???
I mean, forget we have any Inalienable Rights and forget we have a constitution ... just a very practical question....
is he going to try to tell millions of American citizens to do what? Voluntarily disarm just because he likes the idea?
Who’s gonna agree to do that?
Is he gonna try to send police out to frisk and confiscate?
Who’s gonna coooperate with that?
I mean, some of these “gun-grabbers” should maybe actually try frisking and grabbing an American citizen’s pistol someday....and see what happens to them.....
instant Darwin Award!

gun control should be governed by common sense."Common sense" being defined as placing defenseless law-abiding citizens at the mercy of armed criminals.

Common Sense would be the Congress being the only branch to make law and regulate gov’t spending.
