Hang in there...! We all have those days. Having our Trump Family thread is a real blessing. If I had to wander around the msm news with all if their doom and gloom I would t be aware of the hordes of like minded voters. Hillary thinks she has a chance for winning Texas!! 😆

And even if it is criticism of DJT, that’s FINE, too.
We can not and should not be Stepford Trump supporters.

The difference between helpful and hurtful criticism is the intent of the heart.

Benign criticism originates from a heartfelt loving desire for all things good for our DJT, much like a true friend would offer.

Malignant criticism has its roots in an evil desire to bring him down.

You’re just fine, MB.

Big difference.

Harpy could only dream of getting a crowd that size. The corrupt media are pushing phony polls.

Pray America wakes

All of these self-inflicted wounds are going to come back to bite Trump!!! Two consecutive Saturday nights in New England without air conditioning is outrageous and not even having the decency to have somebody speak on his behalf is awful. Plus, what a terrible time for another delayed arrival!! The campaign obviously lacks proper strategic planning abilities! What a shame!!

Well all is forgiven. I'm glad I went. Other than the few people who passed out or had to leave on account of the heat, it was a rocking rally.

As a lifetime New Englander, it is very unusual to have weather this hot so I don't blame Trump for his selection of venue. 95% of the time, it would have been a very comfortable temperature for a late summer evening rally.

It said on my ticket that the event started at 7:30 but didn't specifically say Trump would be speaking at 7:30. He came on at 8:00. No big deal. The only thing that annoyed me was that during the last warmup speech, the speaker said that Trump was only 10 minutes away. It ended up being nearly two hours and not one person came back to the mic to correct the previous speaker. Had they done so, I would have had time to go get some water but I stood right where I was the whole time because I didn't want to miss Trump's entrance.

Yes, my wife survived! On the way back to the car, we stopped at a vending machine and it was $2.25 for an iced tea! Crazy!

I'm surprised they didn't have vendors there selling bottled water at the rally. They would have needed to call a Brinks truck to come collect all the money they would have made.

I"m home now and on my 5th bottle of spring water!

Since Trump began this race I have been amazed at how long, often and hard he talks (shouts) and I’ve never heard him even get hoarse. I recall other candidates in the past get where they can’t even talk after a few days of campaigning. I’ve never seen anything like him for stamina.

The USSS is adamant about no water bottles in the venue, to the detriment of the crowd’s safety or health. Granted, water was available in the back of the venue. People aren’t going to wait in line for hours on end, only to give up their position at the last minute to get a bit of water. Human nature.

That's exactly right. I got a standing spot just 20 feet away from the podium. No way was I giving that spot up for a cup of water. I survived!

I wish they had let us bring bottled water in to have with us. I guess the Secret Service is concerned that a protester would throw one at Trump. But we all had our cellphones. I'm sure a hurled cellphone would hurt too. Hopefully I didn't give anybody any ideas.

You are absolutely right. What other candidate has had such huge crowds? Not M. Romney. Not Billy Jeff Clinton. Not B. Obama. Certainly not Hillary.

Another thing. Trump is easy to listen to, he talks like a normal person. He has a sense of humor. His reaction to the demonstrator was funny, calling her Hillary. I cannot bear to listen to Hillary, it's like she has to struggle to utter her words or is repeating what she is told to say. Something odd about her way of speaking.

Think about it... is it really water? What if the liquid is thrown at him? Can’t take that chance.

We got slammed by that storm! We could hear the thunder outside while Trump was still speaking. After it was over, torrential downpours for nearly half an hour. We just milled around the gymnasium and took pictures of the media putting their gear away (will post all these tomorrow).

Saw the Secret Service arrest a guy who went outside and then forced his way back in despite being told there was no re-entry. The media almost stampeded over me to get pictures of the guy. I think the guy arrested was in the wrong and deserved to be arrested. You don't mess around with the Secret Service!

All the way home, we had quite the light show from Mother Nature.

Once Trump started speaking, we forgot all about being hot and bothered! The entire speech was riveting. Afterwords, we had a nice thunderstorm to cool everybody off.
