Two media companies have asked a judge to make public Donald Trump’s 1990 divorce records, contending they're "directly relevant" to the presidential campaign, USA Today reports. After 14 years of marriage, Ivana Trump cited "cruel and inhuman treatment" when filing for divorce. Though Donald Trump's lawyer at the time told the New York Times the cruelty stemmed from his public appearances with Marla Maples, news of a divorce deposition in which Ivana alleged she had been sexually assaulted by her husband surfaced a few years later and again bubbled up during the campaign. The New York Times Co. and Gannett Co. on Thursday asked a New York judge to unseal the records.
The media companies made the case that doing so would "resolve [that] ongoing campaign controversy" and provide info to voters about the GOP candidate's character.

Getting Trump’s divorce records versus the eons of corruption connected to Hitlary is like comparing a shop lifting to someone stealing all the gold in Fort Knox.

This is what Obama did to Jack Ryan in Illinois. This is how Obama won his US Senate seat. He got a ‘friendly’ lawyer to unseal Jack Ryan’s sealed divorce records. Ryan’s wife, the actress Jeri Ryan, had testified that he had tried to persuade her to go to a club to watch other people having sex. After the records were unsealed and made public, Jeri Ryan was asked if the allegations were true, and she said ‘you say a lot of things when you are trying to get custody of your children’. The Republicans in Illinois forced Ryan to drop out of the race because of this info and the rest of the story is our sad, destructive history since then. This is sleazy, but SOP for Democrats. And I will bet that they can find a ‘friendly’ judge to open those records. How low many in this country have sunk to help the Democrats gain/retain power.

I have a feeling that both Ivana and Marla would have no problem making positive statements about Donald. As for Ivana, I believe she was dealing with substance abuse issues, and Trump was trying to help her. She wanted to party all the time; he didn’t. Don’t know much about MM, though.
