A congressional task force created by three Republican-led House panels has confirmed allegations that senior U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) leaders manipulated intelligence assessments in 2014 and 2015 to make it appear that President Barack Obama is winning the war against the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL). CENTCOM is in charge of the U.S.-led war against ISIS.
The GOP congressional task force was established in December 2015 by the Chairmen of the House Armed Services Committee, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense.

CENTCOM can be corrupted?
Can’t think of a single fed agency that does not cook the books to deceive the citizenry....

Well, therein lies the problem; too many analysts (an estimated 1,000.)
It’s one thing when a current civilian administration cooks the intel data for political gain.
It’s (string of expletives deleted) crime when the any portion of the intel community is cooking the analysis for political purposes.
Any strategic or tactical ction based on such unreliable and flailed data is doomed to almost certain catastrophic failure.
With 40% of CENTCOM’s intel suspect we’ve crossed the Rubicon into the old Soviet type command and control structure.
How does ones now winnow the wheat from the chaff?
How do you find the truly trustworthy ones?
How do you find the scores if not hundreds of honest patriotic investestigators to root out the rot.
The analysts at CENTCOM blew the whistle on this. They are the good guys.
You remember that old story in the about the soldier who got in trouble with his CO for telling him that his sergeant told him to jump in a lake? He didn’t get in trouble for telling; he got in trouble for not being wet...
These people did exactly what they should have. They didn’t change their analysis—the reports were changed higher up the chain. They sent their concerns up the chain and only after seeing no result, they risked their jobs to get the truth out.
Most of CENTCOM is filled with patriots, but they’re not making the decisions. It’s damned near Zampolit-level scrutiny on the good guys. Would you rather they leave?
Generals and Admirals are politicians.

You are joking, right? He will not be arrested and obama will promote him. Corruption, like speeding is a monkey see, monkey do type thing. One sees others doing it and they do not get caught, then boom, one tries it , doesn’t get caught, then one is off to the races. They watch the voters, election after election, vote in the most corrupt individuals the World has ever known to Public Office while eschewing and shunning the more honest and principled ones. The son of a bitch that currently occupies the White House is an example of this. Hillary Clinton is the poster woman for corruption. Yet instead of her being shunned for this a thread was posted and joined by a good number of well wishers on Free Republic.com offering prayer[s] and blessings for her to continue her corrupt ways.
But you must understand that Congress critters are more
concerned about some moron on MSNBC or CNN calling them a
"racist" than about their oath of office or the future of nation.
And then they still want to be part of nation wrecking "free trade" deals so that can receive their payoff for voting for it or from some secret investment or a future executive position in company that's part of the deal. Congress twits are considered losers in they leave Congress without having millions of dollars earned on the sly in some bank account somewhere.
88 days from today, American will choose a president, either Trump of Clinton-Obama.
Patriots will choose Trump. The gutless traitors and Butt-hurt People will choose Clinton-Obama.
Our country will either choose to survive and flourish or it will choose to die.
I do not know exactly where we are going, but I have chosen the road I will take.
