Donald Trump has hinted at the assassination of Hillary Clinton by supporters of gun rights.
The Republican nominee was speaking at a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, about the next president’s power to appoint supreme court justices. “If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” he said, adding: “Although the second amendment people – maybe there is, I don’t know.”
The second amendment to the constitution protects the right of Americans to bear arms. Trump has accused his Democratic rival of wanting to abolish it, a charge that she denies. “This is simple – what Trump is saying is dangerous,” said Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook. “A person seeking to be the president of the United States should not suggest violence in any way.”
Jason Miller, a communications adviser for the Trump campaign, attempted to explain the candidate’s comments. “It’s called the power of unification,” he said. “Second amendment people have amazing spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power. And this year, they will be voting in record numbers, and it won’t be for Hillary Clinton, it will be for Donald Trump.”

The one confort I take is that this is August, summer vacation time, the summer olympics distraction, and people right now are not paying any attention to the political. But once Labor Day comes and goes, got to be much more disciplined.
What BS. Just got done reading the transcript and the follow-up on this. He did not suggest violence! Funny reading the CBS site, which defended Clinton, saying she was not trying to ban guns. No, she was just trying to limit them (maybe using the Australian model, which is confiscation.)

statements! There is no such thing as alluding to anything in this campaign. He needs to finish the thought. We know he means what he says... now he needs to fully say what he means.

First of all, after I posted this, I saw that someone else had posted another article. Is that person a concern troll too? There is nothing to ignore when major news sites from the US and UK are writing stories saying Trump just hinted at assassinating Hillary Clinton.
Second of all, I have done multiple repudiations of news articles against Trump on this site. Funny I don’t get accused of anything when I do those.
So “the Second Amendment folks” means the NRA. Lobbying, threat of impeachment.

We have thick skins and we can get through this...Trump will win...fraud and all...the ‘silent majority’ are those people who are NOT saying who they are voting for, and there are a lot of them...if you doubt me, then volunteer to make calls for the Trump Campaign...you’ll find out in one day...
He has to be more disciplined. No, I don’t read this as him advocating such things. I do read it as capable of being twisted by the media which was desperate today NOT to report on the Florida 50+ murderer as an honored guest at the Clinton rally in that state. Now they have their excuse.
Trump is not just fighting his opponent. He is fighting the media and some from his own party.
They were going to do it no matter what. It’s what they do. Trump managed to get this far with a hostile media. They aren’t all that powerful.
If you’re looking for Twitter and talking head shows to suddenly stop being anti Trump you’re deluded. No matter what they weren’t going to talk about mass murder terrorist dad. And Twitter controls what is trending.
The globalist media will NEVER do what you want. Stop worrying about appeasing them. Trump never called for Hillary to be shot. Period. Defend the truth instead of worrying.
