The 5 Stooges Who Ruined Their “Conservative” Careers By Joining “NeverTrump”
Truthfeed ^ | May, 2016 | Truthfeed

Posted on 08/07/2016 9:17:26 AM PDT by AuntB

There was a time when people like Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, and Erick Erickson were powerful voices within the Conservative movement. That was BT or “Before Trump,” when most American Conservatives were asleep at the wheel and operating on status quo neo-conservative autopilot, completely unaware that the maverick radio voices we hailed as rebels, were actually globalist shills-for-hire.

The silent majority was silent because we were napping, however, Trump has awakened the slumbering giant and we’re hip to the globalist trick played upon us by so-called radio conservatives, politicians, media, and pundits, who subtly pepper falsehoods like, amnesty is good, trade is fine, debt is just part of life, and nation building is patriotic throughout their schtick.

Yes, the slumber is over and the “alt right” is gleefully humming a tune commonly blasted at Trump rallies.

We’re not gonna take it….Anymore.”

One result of this “awakening,” is the downfall of several once powerful radio voices – men whose egos are so immense and selfish that the very essence of their global schtick TRUMPED ethics, honesty, and common sense.

They all have one thing in common – they each made the same mistake on the way to Irrelvence Island.

They joined NeverTrump.

Glenn Beck

Crazy Glenn Beck spent over half a million of his own dollars to try and get Ted Cruz elected. However, in the end – all the money, fasting, and nazi-namecalling added up to a big fat zero. Cruz failed, NeverTrump never mattered, and Beck’s “media empire” crumbled (like a plate of crushed Cheetos).

Ben Shapiro

Once revered as the future voice of conservatism, Ben Shapiro was a beacon of hope within the conservative movement. However, everything changed for Ben when he decided to go NeverTrump and throw his career out the window to defend proven liar, Michelle Fields (see stories here, here, and here).

Erick Erickson

The moment Erick Erickson started bashing Trump two things happened. Firstly, he started resembling a thumb and secondly his career fell apart. Erickson went from being hailed as a powerful voice of “conservatism” to huffing and puffing all over Twitter, bitching about Trump with fellow NeverTrump dropkick Rick Wilson (another talentless hack who looks like a thumb).

Mark Levin

During the GOP primary we discovered that Mark Levin will support anyone as long as they promise to buy his dumb books. Levin went on a screaming-mimmy tirade for the last 3 months of Ted Cruz’s race to loserville, bashing Trump and proudly stating he was “NeverTrump.” Since then, Levin’s ratings have tanked.

Hugh Hewitt

Hugh Hewit looks like a cross between Phil Donahue, George McFly, and Justin Bieber. His claim to fame was trying to trip Tump up with a “gotcha” question about some preposterously unknown faction of the Iraqi Army. Since then he’s spent his time on the radio looking for ways to “help Hillary” and losing listeners.

Honorable mentions go to Rush Limbaugh and Dana Loesch. Rush has never gone “full dumbo” and declared himself NeverTrump, although his actions have us wondering. On the other hand, dopey Dana claims she’s not a NeverTrumper (she is) however, she warns us that “mean Trump supporters” may push her there.

Don’t forget about Rich Lowry.
He’s a complete weenie.

The Levin LIVE thread on FR used to have a fairly decent turn-out of posts daily.

Last WEEK, that thread got 67 posts in 5 days. About 10 of those posts were the daily info-posts. Inga Barks did sub one of those days, however.

Levin has regained his sanity and has compromised his principles into supporting Trump over Hillary, albeit in a luke warm way.

Good luck finding “unity” with globalist back-stabbers like Paul Ryan supplying globalist talking heads like PeRino, Hume, Rove, Wallace, et al with NeverTrump talking points 24/7.

BTW, I don’t want to “unite” with the GOPe. I want it dead.

There is no nuclear triad.
This was a nuclear strategy that was abandoned over 20 years ago. There no longer is a viable manned bomber force maintained such as to take off on warning. There are probably less than a dozen such bombers operational at any time, and only a fraction of these, if any, ready to go.
Hewitt and the rest bringing it up remember this from decades ago when budget arguments concerning nuclear strategy were in the news. Its a journalists idea of a substantial question.

Jonah admitted early on that he had an axe to grind with Trump over a very personal, petty issue.

But Jonah has a)not mentioned it since and b)turned himself into a snarky little pillow biter indistinguishable from any lefty on Twitter.

His headlines/subheads with ‘Hillary’ in the title will barely mention Hillary as he returns to his quixotic Trump hate campaign.

Shapiro is exactly as the author describes here. He thought he had the future mapped out as the net-savvy next George Will (although Will is an atheist and Shapiro a yarmulke-wearing Jew) and suddenly decided to alienate Breitbart and many others.

Loesch is most certainly a NeverTrumper as her tweets demonstrate.

AuntB, your list is way, way too short! For openers, you need to add the 22 “conservatives” who wrote scathing commentaries on Trump for NRO. Then there’s Billy Kristol and Jonah Goldberg. I am sure that the posters here on FR will be happy to expand your list as well. Along with ousting the RINOs from the congrss, we need to make sure that all of these people get new jobs as men’s room attendents, dishwashers or cabana boys.

Levin only cares about one thing. The Constitution. That’s why he supported Cruz. Beck is all over the place. He has tied everything together nicely, but everyone thinks he’s a lunatic, so no one believes him.

The others are establishment supporters with a conservative bent. They are pretty much Neo-cons.

I tuned into Levin the other day to see what his show was like and he seemed to be anti Hillary. Not pro Trump or anything but not anti Trump either. Nothing like Erickson or Beck who are non stop anti Trump with almost no mention of Hillary.

So odd that he would support a candidate that’s not eligible for president.

"There was a time when people like Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, and Erick Erickson were powerful voices within the Conservative movement."

Erick Erickson was never a “powerful voice” or even a conservative. Erickson's attacks on Trump show what a phony he has always been.

Glenn Beck got weird before Trump and just went over the edge attacking Trump. I don't think anyone takes him seriously.

Mark Levin wrote a few very good books and was often accurate. But Levin's radio show was never that popular and is in deep decline since his attacks on Trump.

Ben Shapiro is a neocon with no audience.

Hugh Hewitt is a fake conservative stooge for the MSM. He has never had anything intelligent or insightful to say.

Add George Will, Bill Kristol and the other establishment neocons with no audience and nothing to say.

I still like Rush. I just wish he would be more forceful in defending trump from false attacks.

The mantra should have been “Never Hitlery”, not “Never Trump.”

I think Trump is a Democrat, and, the RINOs should have embraced him.

“There is no nuclear triad”

It wasn’t the question that was the problem...it was the answer.

The wise ones who with Trump and for the right reasons are Laura Ingraham, Hannity, Monica Crowley, Jeanine Pirro, Guilfoyle, Bolling, Schlafly, of course, Greenfield and David Horowitz

The anti Trump pundits seem to think they’re in a good place but are at the same time confused. Their personal feelings toward Trump come through there is a hatred there that won’t go away It seems silly I see it in friends and family. A vitriol. I don’t know where it comes from. I see in Trump a devotion to the country. How do they not see it?

With all his criticisms, I have heard Levin say he may very well vote for Trump.

And Trump should be very wary of him and any other Cheap Labor Express stooges he may hire.

They have been trying for years to convince us that we had no choice but to amnesty all the illegals and forget about the rule of law and even the meaning of US citizenship.
Hewitt is among the sneakiest of snakes when it comes to cheap labor importation.

““Steve Moore DESTROYED Prop. 187 in California.”

FYI...Steve Moore is on the Trump Economic Team.”

Yes, I know. IMO, it’s a BIG mistake! Moore will screw Trump when he gets the chance.

The Republican party is starting to remind me of the Democrat Party. Blue dogs have been forced out of the Democrat Party because they wouldn’t stay with the herd. Republicans are now busy making a list of their version of those who don’t align with the mob and will be running them off before long.

It will be interesting to see how Trumpism affected the political landscape as we look back on this election from about 2030 or 2035. I’m going to guess that the 2-party system will have imploded. I hope I’m still here to see the outcome — I think.

Rush has been much more sneaky about his attacks on Trump, but you can tell it galls him to have to say anything nice about Trump. He doesn’t want to kill off his audience, but I’ve heard enough of his Trump bashing that I’m sure where he stands. He always makes sure to repeat the media’s unfair attacks and anything he feels Trump is doing wrong. But he never called Cruz to task for his stuff, like going after Trump for the violence at the rallies, Saying it was Trump fault, Never went after Cruz for going after Trump claiming he made white racist robo calls, Never went after Cruz for pulling the stunt at the convention.

But if Trump does anything that the press doesn’t like, Rush is right there to criticize with the rest of them.
