Later, Ailes showed her the footage of her dancing. She asked him what he intended to do with it and, she says, he replied, “I am going to put it in a safe-deposit box just so we understand each other.”

Read the article. This is no smear. FOX settled with her for $3 Million when she filed suit. It was under a non-disclosure agreement which she just broke by speaking with the media.

Well, I tended to believe the Cosby stories after a few of them started coming out, so I’ve got to apply the same thinking to Ailes. Could be wrong....hopefully. He has, however, left the scene. One thing that causes me to think it could be true is that a whole slough of his prime time people were going to walk if Ailes left and I haven’t heard another whimper about that. They all seem to have stayed put with nary a comment.
