16 Republican nominee Donald Trump gained 17 points in roughly two weeks, according to the Reuters online tracking poll.
On July 14, 2016, Trump was 15 points behind Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton 46.5 percent to 31.5 percent. However as of July 26, 2016, Trump closed that 15 point gap and is now up two points over Clinton, 40.2 percent to 38.5 percent.
The Reuters/IPSOS polling data was fairly consistent during the Republican primaries — keeping Trump in the lead from February through May, which proved to be accurate.

The poll seems a bit off, but Suffolk has a good track record. I’ve always been wary of PA....every damn election we come up short there since 1988. Fool’s gold. Hope we get some more polls there soon, but that state has always screwed us over.
I agree it wont happen but both Marist and Suffolk show it in there polls. PPP and Quinnipiac both show Trump by 20 or more amongst men. Someone is way off. IF this poll is correct and it foreshadows the result in November we are finished. I will live out my days and accept the terible fate that has befallen our country.
There’s been no swing. People are feeling more comfortable about admitting they are supporting Trump. His overall standing adjusted for the silent majority is overwhelming.

I think the earlier polls were manipulated so to increase division between Republicans before their convention.
I don’t believe media polls.
Actually, it is a 17 point swing. He was 15 down , and now he is two points ahead.
This could get Trump another 17 points!

- Republicans consolidating after the primary
- Democrats not
- Independents breaking toward Trump
- Non-voters becoming interested
They say that voters usually don’t start paying attention until September, but the cake is mostly baked back in June.

Besides the daybreak poll that i mentioned, are there any other polls that include a day or two of the convention?
Look at the prior GOP candidates who have failed in PA since 1988.
Bush 41 - Leading Globalist and cheerleader for NAFTA
Dole - Practically a cadaver on the ticket with Globalist policies
Bush 43 - Same Globalist economic policies as his dad.
McCain - More of the same, plus extraordinarily unlikeable
Romney - Dems basically destroyed him by sticking him with the label of “dog abusing polygamist who goes around giving people cancer and shipping jobs to India”.
Pennsylvania is a Conservative state in many ways, but people here are NOT onboard with the Republican economic platform as it’s existed for the past 25 years. Trump represents a clear break from that. I think you will see this in the results.

Goldberg and Kristol are small fry compared to the concerted effort to Paul Ryan’s powerful corruption leading this entire charge, from start to finish, to cut our candidate’s legs off.
It is truly a miracle that TRUMP can sustain himself with the party apparatus leaving him in a noose, swinging, at the mercy of both mercenary parties, Wall Street, and the corrupt, communist loving media.
These are forces of colossal magnitude. God be with TRUMP and with us.
And there really is a silent majority this year.
Many talking to pollsters are closet Trump supporters who will not come out of the closet before November. Many others will not vote.. Consequently, just like with Brexit election day results, polls will be totally unreliable this year.
I have this advice for Goldberg and the rest of the “never-Trumpers.” Grab your right ear with you left hand and your left ear with your right hand. Now pull hard. That popping sound was your head coming out of your backside. Now get over Cruz and start supporting a man who could actually beat Jezebel.
I agree Trump has a better message. We need more polls there to get a clearer picture.
Nationwide, Hillary has a wider gender gap with men, than Trump has with women.
They call it a gender chasm.
