There was no “agenda” in those days. It was just people wanting to mix with people like themselves and have a good time.

I haven’t been back in years, but I think there is much more money there now. It is sort of the Hamptons for gay people.

I guess there’ve always been stories of the wild goings-on there, but all I know is what I’ve heard, of course.

Most everything was about the good time and not about the ‘in-your-face’ agenda there is now. Everywhere, not just Fire Island!

WHEW, looks like the dog days of summer are happening all over the country. Creeping into triple digits here this week, thank goodness for A/C!

I'm going to be heading over to my BIL place next week to help him do some work on a beautiful retirement home he bought out near the Washington coast. A lovely and scenic area.

I've been seeing son quite frequently this summer even though he works a lot, he starts college again next month.

Probably not going to do a lot today, just too hot! Have a great Humpday!

It’s been a scorcher on the east coast too. So haven’t done much outside except water plants. Hoping for some rain. Next week looks like we’ll have a cool down to upper 80s.

Will be picking up two of our grandkids on Sunday for a week stay with us. This will be their first vacation with us now that I’m retired. They are 10 & 12 so hoping it won’t be too bad. So, I’ll be posting and running next week.

hmmm, lucky BIL having a retirement home on the coast. Have a good time there.
