On Monday morning DNC interim Convention Chair Donna Brazile spoke to reporters about the Wikileaks scandal.
Brazile claims the hacked emails were “tampered with.”
The truth is at the Democratic Party we have a very open process… On behalf of the party I want to apologize for the salacious and sensitive, very mean-spirited emails that were referenced to in Wikileaks. Now look, we all know the party’s emails were hacked. We know that they are being selectively leaked. We also know that they have been tampered with. And, so I do believe that as a party we have to make sure that the material information that gets out is not harmful to the party.
So that must be the latest lie. The hacked emails were “tampered with.”

If they were going to use “they were tampered” it should have been before the head of the DNC stepped down. By that action, they showed the emails were in fact accurate.
They are trying to muddy the water and it will work with the true believers but not with the mushy middle.
In the past they could have gotten away with it all if only the Republicans would have nominated the right candidate, you know the one that would not put up a fight.
I don’t think Trump will let all this go without comment.
Another point, if the Russian could hack the DNC computers, wouldn’t that mean they could have hacked Hillary’s computer? Of course it does. All of her emails are being stored by someone waiting to release them when it will do the most harm/good.
I predict the use of emails will decline and the increase use of paper memos will return.
And just how will you control that, Ms. Brazile? Seriously, it's too late.

Another lesson in “Parsing the Democrats”:
If the email server was hacked and internal documents were downloaded to an off-site location then, of course they were “tampered with”.
Only yesterday Brazile was fretting about the impact of the facts. Obviously they’ve gone the Planned Parenthood route and claimed manipulation (that doesn’t exist).
It drove me bonkers in the PP debate that the defense mounted was ‘The videos were taken out of context’ and NOBODY asked the obvious (and unanswerable question): ‘What context would have made these remarks acceptable?’ I so wanted to see Cecile Richards up a stump but of course the media took the coward’s way out.
The Dems are now using a similar tactic ie send a mouthpiece out who wasn’t involved in the particulars to claim it’s all a conspiracy. The people who wrote these e-mails are still in their positions and on the payroll. Why are they permitted to hide? Why aren’t they being questioned at the airport, at their cars, in Philadelphia, on the street, etc.?

Subject dems hope media echos, Putin did it, they have been tampered with, the dog ate my homework.
The amount of media time invested in this story will be small and focused on dem talking points.
