video caption: "Tiffany Trump performed her pop song "Like A Bird" at the 2016 Republican National Convention and it was met with enthusiasm by dancing Republicans."
FREEP Alert! Calling FReeperyoutubers ! let's FReep the comments on this fun, fun video!
I bet The Donald is going to love this!
Enjoy!

Nice editing. And a beautiful song!
She’s got a pretty voice.
I thought it was utterly horrible. lol.
Guess I am getting old :)
“I thought it was utterly horrible. lol.

Yes you are, lol. But that’s all right. So were all the dancers. I liked the song and Tiffany has a nice voice.
Pretty bad, but typical for now. Breathy voice, but kind-of sweet. Reminds me a little of Olivia Newton John, but ONJ was 1,000 times better.
The singing is ok I guess, though there is heavy use of auto tune.
The song is also alright, with the MAJOR exception of the “like a bird” refrain.
And, thus endeth my career as a pop critic.
It’s easy listening music. Nothing more, nothing less.
I think it's cute. She seems to be a wonderful young lady, accomplished, and grown up very accomplished and grounded, balancing all aspects of her life beautifully. And, hey, she's got Trump DNA. If she can sell some downloads on Amazon, what's the harm.
Everyone should watch the video, just to watch the delegates who are dancing along!
She has a soft Celtic voice, much like Enya, she is a bit of a pop version of Enya.
I do not think Tiffany is suited to the rough and tumble of either business or politics.Just too sensitive, and vulnerable. Open to manipulation if not protected from it IMHO.
First of all, she did not perform the song at the RNC nor to my knowledge was it ever played during the convention. The YouTube video is nothing but a clever piece of editing.
Secondly she is so heavily auto-tuned, for all we know it could have been Hillary Clinton singing.
BTW - here are the lyrics in case anyone doesnt what to subject themselves to listening:

Finally, why is this posted in News/Activism?
I thought it was so horrible it’s funny. Since it was a commercial flop, I don’t think we are the only ones who didn’t like it.
Yipes! Thanks.
You mean you don’t like poetry like the folowing? Philistine!
Shine like aluminum foil in the club
Clever! Although I must admit that I could not take more than about 35 seconds of listening to her singing.
Guess that explains why the video does not show her singing
That’s adorable!!
LOL! Of course she didn’t perform it at the convention. It’s an all-in-fun spoof tribute, that’s why the first words off my keyboard were ‘creative editing’. :)
Why did I put it in News/Activism? because the video ‘stars’ thousands of *activists*, of course!
It’s crazy fun watching a conglomeration of our delegates having the times of their lives captured in a 4min “music video”.
If you stop to think that it was written 5 years ago when Tiffany was 17, targeting the 12-15yo audience, it’s remarkable how the song adapts to the current atmosphere of the political “party” scene - the Dems are obsessing over every little thing, but we just want serenity.
In context of the Convention, the editing on the Trump clip, “I know what you’re feeling, babe, you know that I’m rolling, babe” becomes an instant wink and a nod slogan. And, “You’re cute and you’re tweeting me, baby you go beep beep beep!” brings who else but The Donald to mind.
If I was 40 years younger, I’d cover this duet in half a heartbeat. It’s such a danceable beat, a 12 minute extended version would light up the floor! Beep, Beep Beep! :)
