That “pull-quote” should be sent to the Trump campaign.

Excellent!

I’d rather “Spam-a-lot” on Broadway.

"Barron had many characteristics of autism. Pushing away touches. Not much expression or animation. Not much social interaction. "

I noticed that also.

Yep. Only liberals look for royalty. They need to be led.

“...Romney and Obama are Camelot guys ...”

I’d say “metrosexual” instead of Camelot for those two actually, (:^) but yes, I get your point completely.

Trump worked construction; he knows what it’s like to break his ass for a day’s pay.

That counts with me... and a whole lot of others, for sure.

“Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country....was plagiarism.”

Supposedly the headmaster at a school he attended. However the first time I saw it was in a letter my father in law wrote to JFK prior to the election. He wouldn’t have gotten it from the same “headmaster”, because he was from a previous generation and went to HS in Philadelphia.

>Barron had many characteristics of autism. Pushing away touches. Not much expression or animation. Not much social interaction. Cute kid though.

Interesting, I’ve heard it described by many people that Barron is most like his father of his Kids.

On merely public speaking ability I ranked them this way:

1. Tiffany - Came across as very likeable and genuine. Her humor came through.
2. Don Jr. - Very passionate and made a very convincing speech.
3. Eric - A little stiff and a bit disjointed at times but still really good testament to his dad.
4. Ivanka - Good content but her delivery was the worst of the 4 kids. Seemed pretty rehearsed.

All that being said it was a tough situation to be in and reading off a teleprompter can't seem all that natural. They all did great for the venue though.

Yeah, I wondered what was going on with Baron. You’d think he’d at least be excited by the whole thing, the crowds, balloons, his dad possibly becoming President of the United States. But he seemed surly and even seemed to roll his eyes at one point. Maybe he was just tired, but it seemed a little odd.

Yah but he's what...11 or 12...not so strange behavior for a kid that age.

I have to say, I read the novel Ivana Trump released after her public divorce.....the woman who wrote that book is an airheaded idiot. Not saying she didn’t play a role in her children’s upbringing, but man......I would NEVER read another book of hers.

“Which will make it difficult for him to grow up and not be scrutinized....much more than Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka or Tiffany. I hope there are plans to keep him “protected” during these next 8 years. OTOH, I believe Donald does not do anything without being fairly confident of the outcome.”

It seems Melanie is quite protective. She doesn’t have a nanny, but raises him herself. Which sounds pretentious, but at that wealth level, most parents have a nanny or two.

When Trump asked her what she thought of him running for president, she said he should do what he wanted, but she would continue to be a wife and mother.

Melanina also said to Trump, if you run, you will win. She knows him best!

They are a wonderful family and it will be so refreshing to have a first family we can be proud of.

I never heard this part before. I believe it was LBJ and Bush, but it is nothing more than my own personal suspicion.

I don't recall seeing any of him throughout the entire convention but if you're worried about America dealing with a surly teenager, don't be.

The country did just fine with the two we have now.

Ivanka kept turning like a robot..left...right...center...but I like her even though I suspect she is quite liberal in some regards
