Cows Worse Than Cars for Climate Change, Environmentalists Admit(?)

In a surprising turn of events, climate change doomsayers have turned their attention to cattle, as environmentalists have been compelled to acknowledge that “livestock emissions” are more dangerous for the environment than automobiles.

A recent article at EcoWatch says that greenhouse gas emissions from livestock actually account for a higher percentage of total global emissions than the world’s 1.2 billion automobiles.

Whereas the transportation sector accounts for only some 14 percent of global emissions, cows produce a remarkable 14.5 to 18 percent of the global total, the article confesses.

> BREAKING NEWS: New legislation outlaws cow farts for public safety. Human farts are being debated in the Interior Department. That is all.

Well they need to outlaw the CIC and all members of Congress because they are really full of Shiite

If enviroweenies keep raising the price of meat through taxation and over-regulation they're going to be surprised when Americans start eating all the wild game. Oh, the humanity! This is not wild speculation on my part. Communist idiots think that they can apply the same policies and taxation that reduced smoking, a luxury, to necessities like food, power production, etc. The stupid, greeny German government raised the cost of electricity so high that poorer Germans started cutting down their forests to burn for heat.

Can those freaks get a life?

Good grief.

Imagine going through a whole day without obsessing over cars, cows, businesses, and people screwing Gaia/Gaea over.

This planet is resilient. We shouldn’t be bad managers of our resources, but this obsession with the treats from normal decent things is ridiculous.

“Grass absorbs carbon from the air, cows eat it emit carbon into the air. It’s a closed loop - inputs exactly equal outputs.”

I’ll tell you a little secret: ALL the atmospheric carbon is released (then absorbed and released again) through “closed loop” processes. That’s why the whole system used to be called the “carbon cycle” before scientists stopped doing science and started doing politics.

““No milk, cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, butter, cottage cheese, yogurt or ice cream FOR YOU!”

Yeah, soon having a bottle of milk in your reefer will be the same “ type of criminal activity” as having a 30 round mag for your AR-15!

So presumably horses would be worse than cars as well if they were to replace cars as transportation.

My concern is that the terrorists might latch on to the US government's "Bovine Fart Bag" tecnology and turn it against us.

They expand the terrorist bomb belt technology to an entirely different level.

Each one of these cows is a self contained delivery system walking around with a full bag of highly explosive methane.

They are like miniature Hindenburg bombs, armed and ready to detonate at any moment.

Imagine herds of these bovine methane bombs being turned loose on unsuspecting Americans.

Will the self propelled cow replace the driver-less car?

Will BIG OIL buy up all the hay farms in an effort to corner the market on this new fuel source?

Will the democrats close down the hay farms like they have done with the coal mines?

I attended a conference (required by my then employer) at which I had to sit through a “methane gas reclamation” presentation. It was 16 years ago and I resigned to be a stay at home mom a few months later. What I remember is that everyone around me was nodding off.
