Gingrich: Bushes are behaving 'childishly'

Passed over for the job of joining the Republican presidential ticket as Donald Trump’s running mate, Newt Gingrich showed Monday that his willingness to serve as an attack dog has not diminished. In a pair of morning show interviews Monday on ABC and MSNBC, respectively, the former House speaker showed no hesitation in sharing his opinions on, among other topics, President Barack Obama, race in America, the Bush family and Trump’s campaign.

Gingrich dismissed the notion that the lack of prominent Republicans at this week’s national convention in Cleveland represented some larger trouble within the GOP. He attacked 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney, a vocal opponent of Trump’s, as a bandwagon jumper whose support for the party “lasted as long as we were supporting him.” The former speaker had even stronger words for the Bush family, none of whom will be in Cleveland this week.

Newt is a big ideas man, not for a detail laden chief of staff.

Best spot, press secretary.

Better than Tony Snow, high profile suits his ego, daily battle with the heathen media hyenas, they don’t stand a chance.

Newt could continue the Trump atack, attack, attack strategy Trump has so successfully employed, leaving Trump more room for maneuver.

And he would still have serious input on a daily level as advisor.

win-win-win for USA.

Bushes are like Clintons - they both believe they’re owed it, it’s their turn.

They are acting just like the spoiled brats Mrs. Pierce raised. She was a child of the Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner, and Smith bunch. Her boys are the spoiled brats you are finally seeing whose mom was a Pierce.

“The Bushes should get out of America and move to some bannana republic where they can be the slimey, crooked, lying, evil caudillos that they really want to be.”

And make sure they take their little “half-breed ninny” George P with them. Texas, how could you have elected this worthless little turd to any statewide office. He’s at best, only deserving of being a men’s room attendent!

Gingrich will play an integral role in Trump’s administration, and will be even more powerful than he ever could have been as Vice President.

Governor Huckabee was even more direct yesterday on Fox News.....he called any of his fellow candidates who do not honor the pledge “dis-honorable and liars”.....
Childish is kind by that standard....

Newt has put a face on part of the GOPe making it known who the tantrum throwers are.... showing they are in "it" for them selves not for the good of the nation. I read somewhere the Kasich got close to a half million $'s from George Soros....

The Bush power base didn’t simply erode from the Republican party. A real leader stepped onto the stage and publicly drop kicked that fraudulent dynasty into the audience.

No more loser leadership. America First.

They can’t come because they’re still trying to help little Jebbie get over the fact that he can’t be president just like his big brother....boo hoo. Besides that, they can’t show support for Trump because they’re “adopted” daughter and sister are running against him.....my heart is heavy with grief....../s

Why did John Kasich stay in the race for so long? He had no chance of winning. He wasn’t doing it to help Trump. He should have gone back to Ohio and govern the state he was elected to. He and the others not showing are the fake conservatives.

Absolutely. In the election Cruz showed what he was all about. He’s done.

The Bushes never were hard on challenging the Democrat party for all their nastiness and here they are acting as if they’re so dignified. Good riddance.

The entire establishment GOP machine has behaved “childishly”. Time for them to go starting with Paul Ryan.

Texas just might not like Cruz’s attitude problem the next time he TRIES to run.

If they do this Cruz really is dimmer than a dying lightening bugs ass. This would completely isolate him from Trump, from conservatives and from the Party Pukes. No one will want to have anything to do with him. He is truly a fool if he thinks this will ingratiate him with the Party establishment.

If Cruz has enough walking around sense to come in out of a hail storm he will strangle this idiocy and give a magnanimous endorsement of Trump in his speech.

Nobody cares how Bush and his fellow elitist backstabbers behave anymore. They’ve self-purged from the Republican Party, and that’s fantastic. Does GWB has farmland in Paraguay? Wish the whole family would just....go.....
