(CNN) Donald Trump has called Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and offered him the vice presidential slot on his ticket, CNN has learned.
Pence has accepted.
The pick sets up a stark clash in styles: a brash presumptive nominee with a tendency to freelance into controversies alongside a cautious former congressional leader who's stuck close to conservative orthodoxy since starting his career in talk radio.
Trump said Thursday evening he's postponing the official announcement, previously set for Friday morning...

Haven’t a lot of people gotten $/$^! off at Pence?
how come the genius juan williams didnt predict this two years ago being he claims to be the smartest one on “The Five”.
Uhhhhh CNN? From the Devils mouth to low info voter’s ear.
Very good choice. Anyone with a bit of brains can get out the map and take a look at the states around Indiana and see why this is a excellent choice.
Donald called. Pence accepted. That settles that, right?
Ingenious head fake!! /s
They’ve got my vote against the monstrosity that’s been allowed to capture the Democrat nomination.
USA Today”s Indianapolis Star confirms that Pence has accepted.
Is that why he is barely winning in Indiana ?/
Looks that way.
Good point, CRZ.
I don’t believe this
Pence accepted, but as soon as the homosexuals start wailing, he will cave and ask Trump to ask him again so he can refuse.
I don’t bel8eve it either. I see nothing else on social media about it.
The V.P. has not been decided yet...Trump has postponed tomorrow because of what happened in France...
Something Americans haven’t seen for 8 years, a Leader that thinks about others before him self...
The V.P. announcement can wait, the people in France need our prayers right now...
God Bless President Trump...
It's unclear what you're asking or saying?
It wasn’t Pence that caved on that it was the state legislature
One advantage of Pence is that he will be only 65 after Trump has served 8 years...Gingrich would be 81 after serving 8 years as Vice President so not a plausible candidate in 2024.
Last poll I saw had Pence at 40% popularity as a governor in IN.
