Reports surfaced on Thursday afternoon that presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump picked Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his vice president (VP).
As Trump narrowed in on his choice of Pence, the two men spent time at both Trumps golf resort in New Jersey in early July and at the Indiana governors mansion this week, Roll Call notes, citing an anonymous Republican source for the report.
The New York Times and CBS have also reported the pick is Pence.
However, the Trump campaign is denying this is true.
1/2 A decision has not been made by Mr. Trump. He will be making a decision in the future

“Meanwhile back at the Clinton ranch, no really gives two shytes on who shell pick. Oh wait, it was announced... Jeb Bush.”
I actually thought such a ticket might be possible. PIAPS would call it a “National Unity” ticket.
Oooh, I LOVE that!!!
He’s hiding Huckabee in a broom closet at Trump Tower. At noon tomorrow it’s Trump Huckabee - All Populism! All the the Time!
His explanations were so garbled it was difficult to make sense of but if I recall it wasn’t the wording of the bill itself Pence was against but how it was being perceived, saying something like a fix is needed only because of the “smears” that were being leveled against the act. He probably doesn’t see the damage this will do to Trump coming either.
It has a nice ring to it.
Trump/Hunter
It would be, but it'd be par for the course, for this election.
Maybe they leaked false information to someone they suspected was a mole? Trump-trap...LOL.
Trump may be letting this stuff leak so he can find the moles.

I should have read through all of these posts before I posted my last post :-)
Using this as a trial balloon would be pretty smart, IMHO. He can gauge reaction and if it’s negative, go with someone else and blame the media.
In any case, I really hope it’s not Pence.
Maybe because we already know it will be Huma Abedin.
Only NFL player, other than a placekicker, to score 4 points in one game. Plus, he's good on camera. Minus: same birthday as George W. Bush
Yes, I remember reading about her first on FR a few months before McCain picked her on the ticket. FReepers were definitely rooting for her.
Condoleezza Rice preemptively, publicly and categorically took herself out from consideration more than a month ago, as well as Govs. Nikki Haley (SC), Susana Martinez (NM) and Mary Fallin (OK), though Fallin is expected to speak at the convention... That Condi was approached again at this late time shows the paucity of candidates in her league left for consideration, to enhance the ticket.
Trump said on more than one occasion that Nikki Haley was NEVER considered. I doubt too, that Susan Martinez was either. Condi Rice? Would have been an interesting pairing, but it may have been like oil and water, and no chemistry or loyalty. I would like to see her in his administration in some capacity.
I think on the one hand, our side has a plethora of talent, their’s nothing.
It’s clear our side has been using the usual hacks since REagan left, led by the Bushes and the Romney’s.
The Time’s They Are a Changin.
He’s toying with the media. He is the most masterful manager of them I’ve seen in a long, long time.
Even more exceptional when you consider the raw hatred for him many of the Execs have
Bump for Pence confirmation :D
The idiocy of the Pence Amnesty Ploy... Mike Pence proposed an Amnesty Sell Out that would have required the illegal aliens to just Step out of the U.S. and then immediately Step back into the U.S. Out new VP ... What a fricken disappointment ...
Our attention must now turn to the Pence Ploythe alleged “compromise” miraculously proposed at the last minute by Congressman Mike Pence and widely whooped-up as a way of outflanking immigration patriots in the House.

Two days before the United States Senate passed S.2611, Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) delivered a speech on immigration policy at the Heritage Foundation. Pence offered what he called a middle ground proposal, a no amnesty immigration reform in which securing our border is the first step. [Renewing the American Dream: The Real Rational Middle Ground on Immigration Reform, May 23, 2006]
The timing of Pence`s speech and his position as chairman of the House Republican Study Committee combined to get his proposal the maximum media attention. So, what is the middle ground Pence wants to occupy?
