I wasn’t real impressed with his fighting abilities. He is boring too. But all the remaining three were flawed.

SolidThe Pence family is the poster-ready image of an ideal Midwestern family. I was hoping this would be the choice.
Besides that, the others under consideration have obvious skills which the Trump administration will need in leadership roles.

He wants to win, and win Pences state and the surrounding states.
It won't help with Illinois, due to Chicago. Pence is unique because he has both executive and congressional experience. He has also been a talk radio host, is younger but still mature, and has no skeletons that anyone's been able to find.
The heartland has been Trump's weakest area, and Pence certainly doesn't hurt there. Gingrich and Christie have both earned roles in a Trump admin.
Just in: I heard Mark Belling state he's voting for Trump on the Rush Limbaugh show.

Trump has his own drummer. It ain’t going to please the rightie chesty-thumpers as a primary goal.
Trump might want a compliant veep so that he doesn’t end up in constant clashes with same.
If Pence promised he would support what Trump wants, then this will be milk toast with double hot tobasco sauce. A bearer of surprises from the Boss.

What happened to Friday at Trump Towers? Is it Friday? No, and Trump isn’t having a presser today is he?
The media at its best...course maybe the ‘never trumps’ is at it again...you just never know until you hear it from Mr. Trump do you?....

Evangelicals will have a problem with him going wobbly on the gay wedding/pizza shop case. But they seem to have a problem with Trump anyway. And they sure as heck arent voting for Hillary.
In the past, that has meant the evangelicals aren't voting at all. I really hope it isn't the case. I get the lesser of two evils is still evil, but you've got to be able to see that not voting ensures the greater of the two evils.

Suggested nickname for the ticket:
Walls and Bridges
(Pence broke through a logjam and got two badly needed bridges built in Indiana).

“well see. Ill believe it when I hear Trump say it.”
Trump had to have announced Pence but all the news networks must have censored his announcement.
