Donald Trump raised more than $26 million for his campaign and another $25 million in conjunction with the Republican National Committee in June, a hefty haul that his campaign hopes will put to rest anxieties in the party about his fundraising prowess...
Much of the campaign's money appears to have come in during the final 10 days of the month, when Trumps operation began aggressively soliciting money online for the first time. The Trump campaign announced Wednesday that more than 400,000 supporters made donations in June, with more than $3 million coming in just one day. That indicates that the billionaire will be able to post far larger totals in the coming months if he continues to actively urge his backers to give...

MSM said it was his worst month ever!
If this was an example of a’bad’ fundraising month, what would a ‘good’ fundraising month look like?
Not sure if that is a valid comparison but that's what I was able to find in a quick search. Of course, all that matters to me is the end result in November. Also, it can be argued that Trump is spending his money much more efficiently. Best I can gather is that Mitt Romney spent $150 million to win the 2012 nomination. Trump apparently spent around 1/3 of that - or $50 million.
I would guess that most of Romney’s money came from big-money donors. Looks like Trump is getting a lot of small donations.
There'll be a post on this thread by some nincompoop questioning why Trump is raising money even though "he said he'd fund his own campaign"
Although it's been explained...
...that he was funding the PRIMARY, NOT the GENERAL CAMPAIGN!
Trump had the big donor list but gave up on it pretty quick. He doesn’t need Romney level money because he spends more effectively. In June he spent $0 on TV ads while Hillary spent 500k a day.
They are only the right path. Trump did mention also in that Turnberry press conference that July would be much more impressive than June.

I don’t think Trump cracked $50 for all the primary campaigns combined. Amazing.
Tells you a lot about the grifters.
I don’t know if you read the snippet above? Most of the money he raised came in the last 10 days when he ramp up. Let’s compare a full month after July is complete. He started slow, there is no doubt though.
He might do better or he might do worse. But we need to compare apples to apples.
I’d have thought the Romney campaign would have spent significantly more than that altogether.
I was going to ask last night if anyone had heard about the last fundraising drive that ended the last day of June.
I guess I have my answer.
I helped!!!!!
If Hitlary Clinton raised the same amount the media would be saying “OH HOW WONDERFUL, MARVELOUS” This is GREAT news for Trump that is a really really good amount of dough, read just now many of the donations were 200 bucks or less each very nice :-)

Today Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus announced the Party has raised $155.8 million this cycle.
The RNC raised $11 million in May and currently has $19.9 million cash on hand.
The RNC continues to out-pace the Democrat National Committees (DNC) fundraising, raising over $50 million more than the DNC so far this cycle...
I’d love to see the break down by country
Good for the Donald. I’m proud to say $200 of that was mine and more will be forthcoming. Let’s all get to work and help him save America.
Some are wondering where to send checks. No address is listed on his website.
His reason for “self-funding” was what?
So that he wouldn’t be “beholden” to anyone.
How has that changed, now that we’ve moved to a general campaign? I sincerely don’t understand how receiving money then would have led to his being “beholden” to others, but receiving money now does not lead to his being “beholden” to others.
I’m not wanting to argue, not trying to demean. Just sincerely trying to understand how the “beholden” thing no longer applies now.
