ABC was the last of the “big three” networks to break in Monday morning with the Supreme Court’s ruling striking down a pro-life Texas law, but they didn’t hold back their approval as the assembled cast of smiling correspondents hailed the “fairly sweeping decision” and expressed glee at the “party right here” by abortion activists “lining up since 4:00 am. to witness this moment.”

Chief anchor and Clinton Foundation donor George Stephanopoulos broke in at 10:20 a.m. Eastern to announce “breaking news from the Supreme Court closing at its term with what could be the most important abortion case in 25 years” that “strikes down a state bill that seeks to place restrictions on abortion providers and facilities, a 5-3 decision, Justice Kennedy joining the Court's liberals.”

Let's forget about morality for just a minute. Can anyone tell me what, in the opinion of the SCOTUS majority, makes abortion so damn special that it can't be regulated by the same laws which are used to regulate other normal and often less complicated medical "procedures"?

Some years ago, I went to an outpatient surgical clinic which had the exact same requirements for a colonoscopy. I was damn glad they had such requirements because there were complications.

On what basis other than Sacred Scripture can one argue Natural Law as mitigating against killing unborn children? The Sacred Scriptures attest to Natural Law, yes; they attest to man having a conscience without any special revelation. But for those who wantonly, willfully violate conscience, what recourse is there to curb their actions?

According to the Court majority's opinion, Texas required these rules only for abortions, and not for liposuction, colonoscopy, or other surgical procedures done in clinics.

Oh I think we are well on our way with all the perversions being forced on us by Obie and his SCOTUS. Why vote? I had a guy sitting by my Post Office two days ago collecting signatures for initiatives on the 2016 ballot - I told him it seems a little futile to try and pass something in this manner when down the road a Judge is going to throw it out like they did with 30+ states passing definitions of marriage prior to Justice Kennedy finding it hidden right there in the Constitution beside the right to kill your unborn baby. One justice overruled the right of hundreds of millions of American voters.
