On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Washington Post columnist George Will explained why he left the Republican Party over presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
Will said, “I left it for the same reason I joined it in 1964 when I voted for Barry Goldwater, because I was a conservative. I leave for the same reason, I’m a conservative. To give you a time line, shortly after Trump became the presumptive nominee he had a summit meeting with Paul Ryan where they stressed their vast shared ground, which is more important than their differences. I thought that was puzzling because Paul Ryan still didn’t endorse him. After Trump went after the Mexican judge, then Paul Ryan endorsed him. I decided that, in fact, this is not my party anymore. I changed my registration to unaffiliated 23 days ago. I hardly made an announcement. I mentioned this in a meeting with the Federalist Society. The long and the short of it is, as Ronald Reagan said when he changed his registration, I did not leave the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party left me.”
Responding to Trump’s tweet about his party departure Will added, “He has an advantage on me. He can say everything he knows about any subject in 140 characters and I can’t.”
George Will, one of the most overrated political pundits (who lost his way long ago), has left the Republican Party. He's made many bad calls

No sir you are a fake who sees the curtain coming down on your game of pretend. You actually improve the Republican Party by leaving it.
No Conservative would ever support Hillary. George Will is no Conservative. He is a fraud.
He wants the love of the media more than standing up for conservatism.
Don’t be fooled by a democrat in everything but name.
Always has been, always will be.
Initial stages of senile dementia.
Here's how I sum you up George. Pretentious.
11 characters.
Just exactly what Conservative principles is he and his fellow travelers standing up for? Enforcing immigration laws? Smaller government? Lower taxes? Answer: None of the above. His idea of Conservatism is all bass ackwards. Open borders, globalism, gay marriage are NOT Conservative issues.
George, don’t go away mad; just GTFOOH. And take all your a$$hole buddies with you.
George Will is a Conservative like Bruce Jenner is a woman.
He ought to get it all over with now by consulting Brucelyn Jenner on his other "transition."
Let’s not forget that ole George hosted a dinner party for 0bama and team shortly after the 2008 election. Likely to do the same for zillary if God forbid the opportunity arises.
Maybe if more of these phony “conservatives” would leave the GOP will finally return to where it should be. Can we get McCain, Romney, McConnell, and Ryan to join him?
George, is there a lesson here?
Who is George Will?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA
What a marooooon
BTW, I have heard mention in two different places of Mitt Romney winning or being up for the Judas Award. But when I googled Mitt Romney and Judas Award, I got only three hits, none of them relevant. Maybe it's just some obscure local group's award.
The long and the short of it is, as Ronald Reagan said
Oui.
Mister Will is now officially...
...
......TOXIC!... in conservative circles.
...
Toodles.
