Hillary Clinton surged to a broad advantage against Donald Trump in the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll, capitalizing on Trump’s recent campaign missteps. Two-thirds of Americans see him as biased against groups such as women, minorities or Muslims, and a new high, 64 percent, call Trump unqualified to serve as president.
These and other doubts about Trump have produced a sharp 14-point swing in preferences among registered voters, from +2 points for Trump in mid-May, after he clinched the GOP nomination, to +12 points for Clinton now, 51-39 percent. That snaps the race essentially back to where it was in March.

When Donald Trump is elected in November, ABC News will say that voters for Trump “never thought he could win,” but just wanted to register their disenchantment with globalism. Now, they have remorse and would change their votes.
So they polled more Democrats than either Republicans or independents?
And they actually posted this with a straight face?
Why not just poll an even number of all three?

Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the design effect, for the full sample, and 4 points for registered voters. Partisan divisions are 36-24-33 percent, Democrats-Republicans-independents, in the full sample, 37-27- 30 among registered voters

The fact is, in 1980 even the media didn’t know for sure just what in Hell might happen, Newsweek had three covers prepared for publication, the first one showed the one some people will remember, a blue cover with a smiling Reagan and the caption “PRESIDENT REAGAN”, the second one showed Jimmy Carter rolling up his sleeves with the caption “Starting Over”, and the third one showed the Seal of the President of the United States with a rip down the middle, with the caption “DEADLOCK”, indicating the election was heading to the House minus an electoral college majority for either candidate.
The media was scared, just like they are this year.

12 points. Whatever Clinton as president? Forget that this stupid ‘poll’ has less than zero credibility, everything she touches turns to crap. She’d fail in her first hour and go downhill from there. The drug addled defendants and her cheater committee would get her in for a second ‘term’ during which time every church will have given way to Islam, all network (whatever would be left) anchors would be hijab clad. Internet news would be a thing of the past allamerican history and culture would be erased and anyone caight speaking English would be beaten and otherwise chastised. We’d be disease ridden with strains of TB from Mexico and beyond and Hillary would be in black speaking from the White House which would have been fitted with minarets. Bill would belong gone.

If Trump loses after millions and millions of conservatives voted for him in the primaries all because of the GOP establishment backstabbers... I have never in all the years I have voted as a conservative have I ever seen the shenanigans in my lifetime like what the GOP establishment doing with our candidate. This is the beginning of the GOPexit for millions upon millions of faithful republicans.....I have just had!!! Their plan to get Hillery elected will probably come true. What scares me the most is the Supreme Court justices will be leaning hard left and that does not bode well for this country. Your Second Amendment will be erased from the Constitution and America will be a hellish place to live with liberals dominating every move we make. I think the Trump campaign is well underway, we’re witnessing a different kind of election than ever before, many of the so-called experts and campaign consultants fail to understand that they are facing the equivalent of General Billy Mitchell and his world shaking changes in military philosophy, understanding that bombers were more than capable of sinking battleships, and that the emphasis should be on building aircraft carriers instead. And Trump has been bombing the living sh!t out of Hillary and he’s just getting started.
Trump is mastering the modern media, some may scoff at his use of Twitter, Facebook, etc., however he KNOWS how to work those tools for maximum effect, and if a stronger indication of how Trump is dominating the political spectrum, one need only ask themselves what other candidates have generated the kind of crowds and enthusiasm that Trump has? The fact is, the only other candidate whose supporters have been gung ho from the get go, are Bernie Sanders people and they’re not going to be very enthused for Hillary ‘The Cackler’ Clinton.
It is only 4 months and a few days to the general election and it’s going to pass quickly for some, inexorably slow and torturous for others, like crooked, lying, Hillary.

As much as I don’t care for political “experts” I don’t think they’re wrong about many of the things you must do, like them or not, to win a US presidential election. Trump isn’t going to win the general the way he did the nomination. Won’t work.
