Trump Stuns Critics By Raising $11 MILLION DOLLARS In Just 48 Hours.
DC Whispers ^ | June 25, 2016 | DC Whispers

Posted on 06/23/2016 9:55:34 AM PDT by Mechanicos

The Mainstream Media and spineless Republican critics were out in force earlier this week bemoaning Donald Trump’s lack of a political fundraising operation. Team Trump shrugged off the criticism and then proceeded to initiate a fundraising effort that saw a groundswell of support from backers both great and small who quickly amassed a remarkable $11 million dollars into the coffers of Team Trump and the RNC.

Much to the chagrin of the Clinton Machine and Trump’s critics, it doesn’t appear the New York billionaire will have any trouble raising campaign cash.

The astonishing 48-hour $11 million mark was reported on by CNN just this morning.

"It is an amount that has stunned political operatives on both sides and is a clear example from the Paul Manafort-run Trump campaign for everyone to chill out and STFU about fears of the campaign not having enough cash to compete with the special-interest cash-rich Hillary Clinton operation..."

Did he snap his fingers on both hands or just one?

“They have a lot in common.”

Please don’t just accept the MSM version of Richard Nixon’s character. He was Borked in retaliation for bringing down Alger Hiss and otherwise discommoding the USSR.

The future Hilarious Rodina Clintesterone was of such bad character that not even the other leftard scum would tolerate her, and she was fired from the lynch mob.

Nixon and the Left hated each other and fought a war in the early 1970’s, but I don’t embrace Nixon as a hero.

The letters of apology from Nixon’s ‘hatchet man’ Charles Colson, the White House Counsel jailed for his Watergate involvement, suggest wrongs done to others like Dr. Carl McIntire.

McIntire’s radio station was shut down by Nixon’s FCC on Fairness Doctrine grounds in the early 1970’s. McIntire protested the Kissinger-Nixon foreign policy and called for a military victory in the Vietnam War bringing thousands to Washington to protest.

The Fairness Doctrine action was payback from Nixon.

For the Trump-hating GOPe where cash is king, this poses quite the dichotomy.

Uniparty is now suffering cognitive dissonance en masse.

October will be quite a month.

[ CNN claimed that he needs 1,000 times this much to run the campaign]

Let’s see if I have this straight. Trump has raised 11 million. So CNN is saying that Trump will need to have 1000 times 11 million? Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t 1000 times 11 million, 11 Billion dollars?

You've got it. CNN implied Trump needs to raise 11 billion dollars.

Some of the things that come out of the mouths of those clowns!

The wonderful irony of Hillary Clinton being reduced to saying, “I am not a crook.”

***snicker***, more like justice though.

“Nixon’s ‘hatchet man’ Charles Colson”

A tempest in a teacup.

“the White House Counsel jailed for his Watergate involvement”

Ridiculous tempest in a teacup.

Both the Stupid and the Evil parties wine and dine moneyed citizens as part of their efforts to obtain donations. They try to get the citizen’s head spinning by inviting him to any event that will put him in the company of the famous and powerful.

At that particular time, in the run-up to the 1972 election, the demonrats had expanded this itinerary to include treating potential donors to the services of prostitutes, paid for out of DNC money—you know, Joe Sixpack’s ten bucks that he contributed to have a voice in our representative republic.

That was a felony. Actually, each instance was a separate felony.

Some of Nixon’s subordinates, without his knowledge, decided to try and obtain documentary proof of this, with the intention of exposing the demonrats’ felonious behavior. Unfortunately for America, for the people of South Viet Nam, and for mankind in general, they were not practiced and proficient criminals. As one might have guessed, they made a hash of it.

Nixon’s subordinates, then, were guilty of conspiracy to expose multiple felonies involving the improper use of DNC funds to pay prostitutes.

When his subordinates finally told him the truth, Nixon decided it would be best to cover up this trifling indiscretion. This was entirely reasonable, in view of the heinous crimes that the media had covered up for Roosevelt, maybe Truman, certainly Kennedy, and even Johnson. (Later, they even covered up murder for a sitting president.)

The demonrats, knowing that they had the media in their pocket, decided to lie, lie, lie, and spin, spin, spin, and artificially escalated this tempest in a teapot to the status of a (barf alert) “constitutional crisis.”

They had a few reasons for knifing Nixon.

1. Nixon had been involved in the effort to root foreign agents of influence out of the State Department and other government posts, which was an unforgivable sin against the Evil One.

2. The huge cloud of dust they raised with their hysterical blather about Nixon’s “crimes” completely obscured the reason for the break in: multiple demonrat felonies, involving a vice that most of America still found repugnant.

3. Nixon’s Vietnamization program had succeeded, and he was on the brink of Peace with Honor in Viet Nam. That would have been a ghastly defeat for the left.

And, of course, a hodge-podge of obvious reasons: To embarrass the GOP, to demoralize the Silent Majority, to move the demonrats further to the left, and to forestall any good things Nixon might have done in a second term, with reelection off the table. You can probably name others.

With their customary shameless dishonesty, the left has elevated the Watergate incident to near-mythical status, like the assassination of Abe Lincoln or the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. This needs to be contradicted with the truth at every opportunity.

I think it’s important, because every time a lib realizes that one of the left’s axiomatic propositions is nothing but lies and deceit, the possibility exists that he will begin to question other planks in their platform.

Wow this is good news indeed. Not that Trump needs the money but it injects some momentum back into the campaign that has had some missteps recently.

This, combined with a relentless focused attack on Secty. Cankles should start to translate into some sustained momentum soon. Especially if Ryan et al will shut up for once.

Nixon was a deal maker with Communists in the USSR and China and the China policy he began is heading towards a “Zenith” in the South China Sea, meanwhile he signed off on the expansion of government in this country with the creation of OSHA and the EPA.

Nixon was not RINO Rockefeller per se, but he used Rockefeller’s foreign policy man Dr. Henry Kissinger and Nixon’s resignation paved the way for Gerald Ford to appoint Nelson Rockefeller VP of the country.

But getting back to the original, the fundamentalist radio preacher (Dr. Carl McIntire) was a real man who was really wronged by the Nixon Administration for wanting a World War 2 style military victory in Vietnam.

That’s something that the D and R foreign policy elites have not allowed America to have since WW 2.

After 9/11 RINO GWB picked the wrong nations to fight because the world system of the elites would not allow the Saudis or Pakistanis to be dealt with like they should have.

>>Just imagine how much he could have raised had he actually asked people to send in money.....................

He did ask. The response was that people did what the experts said we wouldn’t do: we sent him money. Lots of money.

>>Media today: “Trump is raking in money from special interest supporters”

People who claim to be “pro-America” are sending Trump money. The media wonders who this “Pro-America Lobby” is and who they represent. Members of the media have asked everyone they know and can’t find anyone who is “Pro-America”. They vow to investigate this mysterious organization and they will report later on exactly what these so-called “Pro-America” people stand for.

There will come a day when Paul Ryan takes a trip to some isolated super alpha rock outcropping and stares into the abyss of his dismal life.

Here, he realizes the harsh reality of his beta-ness and cries before slouching back to the parking lot.

The long drive back to the Hilton has him choking back tears.

The pain is broken when he realizes, he could open a bike shop or a FroYo.

Does the $11M include what he was going to match?

It’s an incredible amount, either way.
