The beauty of this Trump speech is ... to try to defend Hilly & refute Trump, they have to talk about the very things that Trump brought out that Hilly has done. They HAVE to talk about it in some form or fashion.
I don’t doubt that the Orlando terror attack SHOULD have such an electoral effect....in a better world with a less biased MSM etc.... but if most people were actually so security-conscious then Hillary and the DemocRATs would have been blown out of our public life many times by now. Instead, like zombies, the Clintonistas keep going and going and going.
It doesn’t do any of us any good to believe that the election is already decided or that Hillary can’t win. It’s going to take a lot to beat her (unless she gets indicted but I don’t see the Obama Atty General doing that). Trump obviously has what is needed, but we all need to spend the next 4+ months helping him win, rather than talking about how it’s already in the bag.
Possibly Trump’s best speech ever. Coherent, plain language, almost nothing egotistical, a ton of roundhouse punches Hillary can’t escape from, maybe even better than his national security speech a couple of weeks ago.
Watch his poll numbers bury Hillary in the next week. And from there, I don’t think he will drop again.
I want to see this Trump from now on.
Had to turn it off and go to Fox because it was just so over-the-top anti Trump and anger. The mood was certainly funereal though and they at least acknowledged that he was presidential and that he was on message as far as the GOP is concerned.
One person on CNN went so far as to say that it was as if Paul Ryan wrote the speech or at least parts of it.
