I love clams steamed in butter. Broiled scallops are my favorite. I really like all seafood. Except oysters. Yuck.

More lobster for me. :-)

See...it's karma!! LOL!
You Should Spend Your Summer on a Road Trip
For you, the summer is all about possibilities. And you're not going to be tied down.
This is the time for you to embark on an epic road trip, with no ultimate destination in mind.
You know you'll have a ton of crazy adventures... at least until you run out of cash!

We went in summer and it was beautiful-——window boxes laden with flowers were everywhere, even on one gas station.

It was a contest-—but it was years ago so I don’t know if it still takes place.

The kids had a swim in the lake.

A very pleasant memory.

Never been there, but have been to the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass with a work group. The thing I remember most...I’m not much of a fan...was one of the players size 14 or 15 tennis shoe! LOL! It was HUGE!!

Oh...and being in the elevator with about 5 players. All I could see was belts. [I’m short! LOL!]

I don’t recall ever seeing “R&P” signs but do remember when speed limits were 65 on highways and 75-plus on the interstates. At least around here.

I think everyone was hacked when they dropped it to 55. I’m no speed demon but 55 mph is just too slow!

I recall a news graphic at the time: At 70 mph you can cross Kansas in about 5.5 hours. At 55 it takes 8. A real road trip killer.

One of my college roommates was 6’6”. He had size 14 “boats.” Somehow he obtained a pair of size 14 rental shoes from a bowling alley; he would wear them to parties. You know, the green and red ones with the “14” on the heels. I am still sworn to secrecy on exactly how he came into possession of them. I didn’t know they made rental bowling shoes that big.

Oh, yes, I remember those ugly things! LOL! I didn’t know they made them that large either. I wonder how many bowling alleys he went to before finding those! :)

YUCK! That IS a bit of a road trip killer, isn’t it?
But really only if you’re in a hurry to get somewhere. It’s a little harder to enjoy the scenery at 70 and that’s a big part of road trips. :-)
