Actually, you’re right about Hubby getting lost when it comes to going somewhere specific. Will NOT read a map so I’m the navigator. But he does know the roads around here for day trips.
You have had some “interesting” quiz results in the past, haven’t you henk? LOL!

Oh, sorry, I thought you may be coming-out :-)
Hah, just kidding!
Anyway, I remember my first road trip as a kid too. I was 11 in '62, we headed East from Seattle to Minnesota to visit relatives. In Montana at the time, there was NO speed limit on the I-90 freeway and Dad often was doing 85-90 in our Buick.
Didn't have seat belts back then either, it's a wonder we survived childhood.

Oooo...you’re from Maine, too? I’m wanting to plan another trip up there. My hubby went with me on the first one, and as it turned out, he likes FReepers very much! :)

This is the time of year to head up there, that’s for sure. Hot and muggy in the south. Ugh!
I’d love to try some Maine lobster. I’ve heard it’s scrumptious. What we get around here really isn’t that impressive. Good, but I’d rather have shrimp.

Did the speed limit signs say “R &P”? (Reasonable and Prudent)
Can you imagine going from R & P to 55 m.p.h on those roads?

Sounds like we have the same problem, LUV. LOL! Well, close any way. We’ve only gotten lost in this country.
But with all the cats, we don’t get to go anywhere to get lost along the way. :-(

I’m up for some lobster. How are the clams and scallops? Do you get them that far north?

Oh, 'du! The lobster is to DIE for...and so much cheaper than anywhere else.
We stayed in a cottage that had a lobster shack at the bottom of the hill, and some of us went down and picked some that were just off the boat. My mouth is watering at the thought!
Ok...I'm ready to pack my bag now! LOL!

Did the speed limit signs say R &P? (Reasonable and Prudent)There was a warning but I don't remember the exact words.
We were all pissed when Nixon adopted the 55 mph speed limit.
I'm glad that many states have come to their senses.

I went to Cooperstown five years ago with my son on his spring break. It was his idea. How could I say no? In early March, the lake is still ice bound, but touring the Hall of Fame we had the place to ourselves and could take our time.

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting a few FReepers over the years and am always ready to meet more. FReepers rock!
