David Cameron invokes Churchill in 'we stay and fight' plea for Remain vote

..."If we choose to leave, we can leave but let's be clear if we do leave we are walking out the door, we are quitting, we are giving up on this organisation which even if we leave will have a huge effect on our lives, our children, on our opportunities, on our businesses," he said .

"I don't think Britain at the end is a quitter. I think we stay and fight. That is what we should do. That is what made our country great and that's how it will be great in the future.

"At my office I sit two yards away from the Cabinet Room where Winston Churchill decided in May 1940 to fight on against Hitler - the best and greatest decision anyone has made in our country

"He didn't want to be alone, he wanted to be fighting with the French and with the Poles and with the others but he didn't quit. He didn't quit on Europe, he didn't quit on European democracy, he didn't quit on European freedom.

"We want to fight for those things today. You can't win, you can't fight, if you are not in the room. You can't win a football match if you are not on the pitch."

“To establish European citizenship. This means protection of fundamental human rights and freedoms.
To ensure freedom, security and justice.
To promote economic and social progress.”

You mean for the millions of Muslim Arabs, who are busily raping and destroying European culture?

“To assert Europe’s role in the world.”

Europe’s role in the world has been asserted for many centuries. You must be referring to the European centralized bureaucracy.

Europe’s economic condition is in peril, attributed directly to the EU, according to the experts.

Hardly — the EU does not want to merge with Russia or the US or the ARab states.

Yes, I read his entire history of WWII. But what has that to do with Britain staying in the EU?
I do have a question of you. Here is the first chapter of “Making EU Decisions”:http://europa.eu/eu-law/decision-making/procedures/index_en.htm
Was this process followed before allowing 2 million refugees to flood into the EU. If it was then I'll back down from my opposition to the EU. But if the decision was made by a handful of government elites then it stands.

How exactly is this institution like the anti-Christ? where is the EU claiming to be a god and to be worshipped? or displaying miraculous powers or controlling the world economy?

The EU can be Phil the prince of dimmer lighting, but not more

Thanks - and I apologize for the screed at the end of my post 62. what I did post was Churchill's speech from 1946 where Churchil said We must build a kind of United States of Europe

About your question to me: No, this process was NOT followed. Queen Merkel decided to ignore it and flood Germany and Sweden with Moslem scum

The EU is flawed yes, but:

Thank you for your honest reply. The way I see it is in a couple of generations the EU Government would become a Totalitarian regime indistinguishable from the Fascists of last century. or the Holy Roman Empire of old, complete with its own form of Royalty and the people serving as voiceless serfs.

That is a real fear -- and one shared by my wife (who voted against Poland joining the EU in 2004) -- btw, I'm not Polish, so I think I can view them as an interested observer within the milieu.

I agree that the EU could become a totalitarian regime, but not in the sense of the fascists as this is too disintegrated and there is no real autocrat. It would become an all-encompassing, bumbling entity that controls Europe's slow decline.

This is why I think that it is important for the UK to take center stage and provide an opposing view

I think the Visegrad group (Poland, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary) are providing a counter-point to the Franco-German axis, but without the UK they are very, very weak.
