What is the best advice you have heard from your dad or any dad ?

One time, as a teenager learning the game of golf, I got a bit frustrated with myself with hitting a few good shots and then a few lousy ones. My Dad remarked, “Sure there are going to be ones better than someone like you, but just remember, there are others who’ve done worse”. Certainly not getting too cocky or arrogant by comparing oneself to others, but something like that helped me put mistakes and personal performance into a certain perspective.
