Socialism failing to work as it always does, this time in Venezuela, Scully said. You talk about giving everybody something free and all of a sudden theres no food to eat. And who do you think is the richest person in Venezuela? The daughter of Hugo Chavez. Hello. Anyway. Oh and two.
As a long ago Pittsburgher, Bob Prince and Myron Cope and Sam Lang (hockey) were my favorites. But God Bless Scully.
Amen brother. Here in L.A., I only listen to him on the radio just for him. The Dodgers are inconsistent. No one is gonna fire a legend. I’ll be a bigger fan if he rips Buttcrack O.

Illustrates very nicely why Vin Scully stinks as a sports broadcaster.
Always yacking about things other than the game. An entire half an inning can go by with the radio audience having little or no clue as to what is happening on the diamond.

The Dodgers left Brooklyn?
I’m still partial to Ernie Harwell, but Vin is definitely one of the greats.
Love this tweet:
“Only Vin Scully can take down an entire political system between pitches”
.
Yours is obviously a minority opinion.
So evidently he is not a Bernie fan.
I don’t mind being in the minority when I’m right.
I suspect you are a Giants fan?
Not at all. Just an honest observer.
Love it, way to go Vin!
“(Y)ou go Vinny! I bet you are voting for the Donald!”
Bet you that Tommy Lasorda will be voting for Trump too.
Someone posted a chart of the political leanings of the average sports fan broken down by league. The PGA and NFL fans were very conservative, whereas the MLB was center right.
Scully knows his audience in LA. Gotta believe there are many center right Dodgers fans out there listening to him.
Vin needs to shut up about politics and do what he’s paid to do, like every other celebrity should do.
I don’t like it when libs voice their opinions “from the booth” either.
It pains me no end that my dad cant see the donks for what they really are. He wont listen to me. Im just a 63 year old kid.

I feel your pain. My mother passed away this past December at age 95, was a Roosevelt democrat. All you can do is love them anyway.
For me it was the Detroit Tigers at night in northern Michigan (when the signal was strongest) in the summer time while I laid in bed listening to Ernie Harwell.............
Not exactly an opinion, more like a factual observation.
Gd bless Vin.
No way Vin would be fired, he’s retiring this year after broadcasting Dodgers games since 1950.
