Just got diagnosed with Bronchitis. Not bad but the coughing fits are sure irritating. Granddaughter getting over strep. Construction worker came into the house looking and sounding like death on a rampage. Got us sick and in june of all seasons! The grandkid was sick for about five minutes! She’s made up for her sick time too. Lol
Interesting. I understand Ivanka cause both dad and step mom are die-hard Hillary supporters as are so many of my friends in theatre. Just keep conversations on anything other than politics. Hahaha.

When my DH got it, I ordered mullein from Mountain Rose Herbs, and made tea steeped in it. It is known to be good for clearing up respiratory illness.

I am continually astounded by those who support HRC even now.
I am older and have lived mostly under a Free Republic, but I shudder for those who are so ignorant, and for others who are willfully ignorant as well.
Dad was raised in the the depression era south—entire family of democrats. After getting out of the service, he settled in KS and at one time was a Reagan Democrat. Sadly, age and MSNBC haven’t done him any favors. As for step mom, I have no clue. I have learned to leave politics out of most everything. Now that stated mom has promised to go to a Trump rally if one comes here so long as I go to a Clinton rally with her. And she does know I firmly believe Hillary is as crooked as the day is long. She doesn’t like that but keeps her mouth shut in defense of family unity. :) but like you, it amazes me the people who actually think she is great. I guess stupidity is alive and well.
I live here - in Vegas - have seen Love three times...easily the best of the Cirque shows.
Of course we're all nervous when he's in public.... but his security people during a speech are the vigilants, not TV viewers.
I don't get paranoidical over nothing at all every time I watch the Donald give a speech with vetted supporters sitting behind him.
I was struck by so many jumpy comments here about the "guy in the white cap" who became some kind of target for nervousness for no apparent reason at all....except he was tall, had a hand phone, and gave Donald what might have been a business card.
Very suspicious of him.
He was probably a friendly local heavy-hitter $upporter which is why he had the best seat in the house.

I'm one of his strongest supporters and most positive analysts on this forum...look up my countless posts in the FR search feature.
But...tonight he gave a lousy, rambling, disappointing, same-old, same-old, same-old speech all the while tilting furiously at numerous beside-the-point windmills.....and I'm just happy he wound it up in a relatively short time. Even the FR thread was lackadaisical tonight because the speech was so stale.
Tomorrow is another day, and hopefully a better one.

I know you are a solid DJT supporter and you have articulated your thoughts well.......and I agree with what you’ve written.
In fact, I emailed DJT about a week ago and told him his supporters loved him but were getting bored hearing the same things/same stories at the rallies. I asked him to start bringing new material, new information into his speeches.
They do read the emails. Perhaps if more Freepers emailed with the same feedback, they would see it’s more than just one person who is telling them this.....and perhaps that feedback might make it back to DJT.
He DOES need to tell us new and different information, not only to keep US up to date, but to keep the opposition wondering what he will say and do next!

Thank you for the kind words. Yes- Mr. Trump did a great job of sticking around after the rally and embraced the folks on the crowd line, that no doubt, stood in line for 6-18 hours, in order to win their position on the security barriers upfront, and hopefully meet with our future POTUS.
I went walking with my nephew Friday, between 8-9 miles, and developed two large and painful blisters on the balls of my feet. One the size of a sugar cookie, and one the size of an egg. Overnight, the larger blister broke and self healed by morning. The other one was puffed up and I could not put pressure on it, even after lancing it.
I missed the rally... what a disappoint, especially since it was due to a self inflicted wound. All I can figure out, is that the asphalt pathway that we walked on, following the currently dry New River riverbed, with an air temperature of 105 degrees, was so hot that it cooked the bottom of my feet, and I somehow lost my trail (hiking) conditioning that I’ve kept for the past four years. What lousy timing. ;O(
I’ve been in a funk and in seclusion all day. I went outside and soaked my feet in the swimming pool, and it seems to have had the desirable effect, quelching some of the pain and swelling. If I would have had the right presence of mind, I could have soaked my feet this morning possibly salvaging the day.
I watched the rally on RSBN. I think Mr. Trump was running out of gas and who can fault him, what with the pace he has maintained this week. What a trooper.
I would venture a guess that he continues to make appearances and attend fundraisers at some kind of steady pace up to the convention.
