Yet, if you ask some bystanders in Brooklyn, they’ll tell you the gunman’s rampage had nothing to do with religion. That’s what filmmaker Ami Horowitz found when he asked New Yorkers who was to blame for Sunday’s stark death toll.
“I don’t think it had much to do with Islam, to be honest,” said one Brooklynite.
“I don’t think it was a terrorist,” said another.
Republicans and guns played a much larger role in the carnage, they argued.
“One hundred percent the Republicans.”
“Guns way more than Islam – way more.”
Political correctness never ceases to amaze.
I think a lot of this comes from parents in suburbia who raise their little snowflakes to expect the world to pave their way with gold. When it doesn’t, they become bitter and resent the mainstream and think they are entitled to hate the adult world where nothing is easy and nothing is handed to them.

Lol, what can you do....I live in New England. Though there are conservatives here, but yes, I work with some real winners.
Most of them I wouldn’t call Brooklynites, just mostly transplants or doing their couple of years in New York so they can go on to bore everyone where they’re really from with their New York stories for the rest of their lives. But idiots all.

I used to be in your shoes, back when I was still someone else’s employee twenty years ago.
Funny enough, I didn’t really get my political bearings until I struck out on my own and started a business. I didn’t see the true corrosive contagion of liberal thought in the workplace until I’d been gone a couple of years.
I’m so set in my conservative ways now, I could never survive that environment today. I probably wouldn’t last a week.

I used to the nonsense. I’ve lived in the northeast all my life. I’m very reserved at the workplace, so all this noise goes in one ear & out the other. The people I work with just assume everyone in the workplace is a liberal....they have little to no self-awareness. They are comfortable & not too strident, but some of them are so stupid politically that, at times, it boggles the mind.
The left is always quick to have knee jerk reactions before facts are revealed. It happened in Britain too with the murder of the MP.

As a born and raised New Yorker, ONE neighborhood in Brooklyn DOES not reflect 8 million people!!!
One can get a completely different response if one had an interview in a blue collar neighborhood in Queens, a Chinese neighborhood in Brooklyn or out on Staten Island.
