Donald Trump is viewed unfavorably by 7 in 10 Americans in a new national poll. Seventy percent of U.S. adults have an unfavorable view of the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, according to the ABC News/Washington Post poll released Wednesday, a 10-point increase since last month.
That's his highest unfavorable rating since the launch of his presidential campaign and is close to Trump's highest-ever unfavorable rating in the poll, 71 percent, from May 2015. Since then it's hovered closer to 60 percent and had fallen toward the end of the GOP primary season.
Hillary Clinton is also viewed unfavorably by a majority of Americans, 55 percent, a new high in the poll for her. Forty-three percent view her favorably.
Those numbers come shortly after Clinton won enough delegates to become the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. Still, national polls asking voters whom they plan to support in November have shown Clinton pulling ahead.
Clinton has higher favorability among members of her party than Trump does among his in the ABC poll: 75 percent of Democrats view Clinton favorably, and 65 percent of Republicans view Trump favorably.
Independents, which both candidates are seeking to win over, are tepid on both: 68 percent hold unfavorable views of Trump, and 63 percent hold unfavorable views of Clinton.

Thank you! Didn’t see the percentages for pubbies, dems, indies.
I said this in another thread I posted about a Bloomberg poll, but being dismissive of these polls is not wise. That’s what happened around here in 2012. Every time a poll came out, “Oh, that’s such and such news, they are just liberal. The poll is fake.” It turned out the polling was right. There is nothing wrong with having some concern. Being that it’s early, Trump’s campaign can adjust and do what they can to bring up the numbers. I also said that I believe debates are going to be key for Trump as well as having good ads.
Uh, no.
Just saw a viscious anti-Trump ad on American Pickers here in the Cleveland/Akron area.
There are time limits for filing motion for Judge to recuse himself. But probably lawyer should have done so when Judge assigned to case.
It was in how he did it I think. However, I don’t understand why he didn’t file a motion for the judge to recuse himself. If he had not referred to his Mexican heritage but got into things like the La Raza connection, the judge releasing material that shouldn’t have been released, the Clinton donations to the law firm, the fact the plaintiff was gone and the case continued, etc. it would have been better. The media branded him a racist, which is absolutely ridiculous, but they did it, and don’t underestimate the affect the media has on a large swatch of people in this country.
gosh it makes you wonder how he WON against 17 others, with the biggest turnout in history.
I think a lot of these polls will be released until just before the election in an effort to affect peoples’ thinking in pursuit of their narrative.
On the Today show this morning, the wise pundits categorically stated that Donald Trump only had today, June 15, to turn things around or he was finished.
Don’t panic. This is normal every election. The GOP gets their nominee and the MSM goes into full disinfo mode on the nominee. Polls mean nothing.
I think Trump knows this.
They will do the same after he is elected.
Just what every nation in the world wants.
Trump terrifies them.
It's a complete fabrication.
Thanks, that explains it.
But, they may not have realized a recusal was necessary until the judge showed his bias.
But, the reality is: the media is a branch of the Democrat party. Every article or report they publish is going to be constructed like a campaign ad, to make Trump look as bad as possible.
This is why I consider this an unforced error. Trump could have chosen his words more carefully and made exactly the same points, without giving his opponents and the media (but I repeat myself) more ammunition.
Trump appears to be getting it now, after the most recent dustup with the Post. He should continue it, and when the media screams -- point out that Obama did exactly the same thing, tossing people off the campaign plane when they endorsed his opponent.
They're desperate, and will get even crazier the closer they get to having their a**es handed to them this November. Stay strong, don't believe polls.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
A lawyer always looks to see or, if they are new to Judge and area, they can pretty much be sure they will get “ hometowned”.
Judges tend to side with good ol boy network. Gotta get along you know.
Im a generally optimistic guy. But we whistled past the graveyard last time too. It seemed so inconceivable that Obama could get re elected after voters had four years to “get to know him”, we all dismissed nearly every poll that called him the winner. Media is now more hotly engaged, non stop, than Ive ever seen before. Only negs re Hillary and Positives for Trump come from sources that are pretty much only read on FreeRepublic. Even Fox has long since lost its way.
Hard to see how he comes out of this. Afraid we are just four months away from the end of the line. Very discouraging and at the same time enraging. As one after another so called republicans seem to be doing all they can to elect clinton.
