Speaker Paul Ryan on Tuesday implicitly disagreed with Donald Trump's remarks from a day earlier in which the presumptive GOP nominee repeated his call for a policy banning Muslims from entering the U.S and condemned radical Islam in the wake of the Orlando nightclub attack.
"I think there's a really important distinction that every American needs to keep in mind: This is a war with radical Islam. It's not a war with Islam," Ryan said when asked to react to Trump's terrorism speech on Monday.
Watch: Donald Trump speaks on deadly Orlando shooting "Muslims are our partners," Ryan added. "The vast, vast majority of Muslims in this country and around the world are moderate, they're peaceful, they're tolerant."

Trump “repeated his call for a policy banning Muslims from entering the U.S and condemned radical Islam in the wake of the Orlando nightclub attack.......
OK Rebecca, tell it like it is. Trump did NOT say to “Ban Muslims from entering the U.S.” as you stated, you conveniently left out the qualifier “until vetted”. If you are going to write it, tell the complete truth, not half of it.
Common trait of Tares - Ryan is distinguishing himself as arrogant, proud, and poison. Now that it is his Harvest Season, he is graciously unwrapping his own roots from anything Healthy around him.
It is time to pull him out since he is so conveniently exposing himself for what he really is.
Instead of acknowledging that our country has a problem with radical Islamic terrorism; instead of talking about what we can do to eliminate it; Ryan agrees with Obama and Hillary that we should ignore the threat, bring in more muslims, and take your guns away.
Looks like the GOPe is also the enemy of American First policies.
Trump outlined a common sense policy to stop the influx of radicals, to actually enforce laws on the books, and to find a solution to vet in a responsible way, immigrants before they enter our country.
Ryan also should be talking about what he wants to do to get the immigrants to assimilate into our culture. They apparently have another plan, do they not?
Captain Obvious says that they must own him too.
I like what another poster said yesterday: Not all Muslims are killers, but they are the grass that hides the snakes.
I just donated $25 to Paul Nehlen’s campaign again. I sure hope he wins.
(p17.3) - The Prophet (Allah Bless him and give him peace) said: “Kill the one who sodomizes and the one who lets it be done to him.”
Why does Ryan hate gays?
Lets apply a little common sense to this vapid argument that a majority of Muslims around the world are "tolerant".
Simply put, if the later were true, how is it possible that countries such as Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Yemen to name just a few, can be demonstrably so intolerant of any other religion? Not to mention, women and homosexuals.
The simple fact of the matter is Islam is completely intolerant once it achieves the power to subjugate.
Ryan is a moron. Wonder what Obama has on him?
Dear Mr. Ryan,
There ain't no difference. And even if there were a difference, what benefit exactly do Muslims bring to the fabric of our country and Western culture?
How do we support the challenger?
Ryan has no business being in that much power and siding with the muslim ... not even a hint of protecting the American citizens. A person taking that stance, does not know enough to have that position.
They can’t seem to get it into their heads that the immigration that has been happening for all these years, is not the same thing as muslims intent on taking over the courts, the land, the world.. and not assimilating into any country they invade, but to make them all muslim. Giving the enemy a place to live, food to eat, health care, and thinking they can make good voters out of them... is self destruction by the brainless leaders. But just like Orlando, it’s the citizens who pay the price.
Franklin Graham was asked if he thought muslims and Americans can live together... and he said “I don’t think so”. He was challenged on that statement and he said “I don’t preach against muslims, but you asked me a question and I answered it”.
This guy was the 2012 GOP Nominee for VP?
This is the Speaker of the House that the GOP sponsors?
This is ‘conservatism?’
#ImmigrantControl
We do not need more immigrants. We are already far more crowded in our urban centers than the Founding Fathers would have ever thought advisable. Moreover, what is totally unamerican is a President who arbitrarily settles incongruous immigrants in American communities of his choosing.
Why have none of these anti-Trump Republicans, who challenge Trump not challenged Obama's deliberate efforts to disrupt the continuity of American communities?
Obviously, they do not put America first! Ryan does not argue from any factual basis for his daily insults directed at Donald Trump. There is no factual basis for his points. The other day, he even stooped to the sanctimonious, but totally supercilious & patronizing "argument," that Trump's immigration ban was "not who we are."
Sound familiar? It is precisely the sort of bogus attempt to intimidate, which Leftist Professors on Leftist University campuses use to suppress opposition from coeds who dare to express their family values in the class-room. Anyone who remembers how America was settled will recall that religious & ethnic preferences were precisely who we were.
If this is what Ryan is all about, he is not an idealist--as he has posed; not a realist as he has claimed; not an altruist or optimist as he has pretended. No! If this is the real Ryan, he is only another pseudo-intellectual bully--a mountebank who needs to be unhorsed.
Trump will get what he needs from this guy. Ryan’s true colors are shining brightly, which proves he is part of the problem.
Cruz is a degenerate. But he’s self-impressed enough to make a run in 2020 regardless.
