WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham will travel to Dresden, Germany, this weekend to participate in the 2016 Bilderberg meeting — a private gathering of public officials, lawmakers, journalists and thinkers.
The South Carolina Republican is the only member of Congress scheduled to attend the meeting, according to an official list of participants. Among those included in the 125-person roster are former Army Gen. David Petraeus, former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde.
Also taking part are the editor-in-chief of Bloomberg, a history professor from Harvard University, the head of Google and the prime ministers of Belgium and the Netherlands.
Graham, who ran for president last year, gained national exposure for being the only Republican contender to slam President Barack Obama’s Iraq war strategy while actually offering his own alternative. Since dropping out of the race at the end of 2015, he has been something of a voice of conscience for the Republican Party struggling to reconcile with its unconventional presidential nominee, Donald Trump.

FWIW: The photo of Senator Graham with rape dad Dan “20 minutes of action” Turner that showed up on the Internet yesterday seems to have disappeared overnight. It came from Dan’s wife’s “deleted Facebook page” so there may have been some kind of copyright or intellectual property problems, but with all the to-do about bias at Facebook and Google, it’s an interesting development.
And the Arabic-speaking NBC reporter Richard Engel, getting his propaganda speaking points for the next few months.
He MAY be one of the entertainers as I heard he picked up his Tutu from the cleaners last week.
I thought it was treasonous for elected officials to participate in this kind of international meeting in which they are not allowed to report results and information. Just wondering.
He met with Obama and lied about it; he met with Murdoch and Linda Graham and tried to hide it; he was absent last year when the Bilderbers met and he was absent this year. And, he set himself in hard opposition to Trump, who is not a Bilderberger.
LOL the Bilderberg group has to be a bunch of bumbling idiots to invite Lindsey Graham and actually take him seriously.

I think this thread should be reviewed—with Graham behaving so recklessly, perhaps this is a clue
I have been tracking attendance to this group off and on for quite a while. I first heard of it in the 1970s when I read the book “A Choice Not an Echo” by Phyllis Schlafly, which she wrote exposing some of the dirty tricks of the GOPe. They had approached a conservative who was considered a potential presidential candidate, and he said no thanks and spilled the beans.
For years, the existence of the group was denied. However, persistent independent journalists regularly found out where it was located, and filmed people as they arrived, then published a more extensive list.
There used to be a website - Can’t recall the name - Spotlight or some such that had a lot of info each year till they were shut down.
A paper from Texas printed that Gov Perry was going to attend the meeting back when Arafat was going. Perry was to make a presentation on Federalism. It was speculated that war in the Middle East was on the agenda, and that did happen.
The EU was also predicted after one of these meetings and that happened. Occasionally, hotel personnel overheard stuff and spilled the beans. Sometimes attendees who quit spill the beans.
At least they have quit denying the group exists. They still don’t get the same amount of coverage that any other group would : G7, World Economic Forum, Globull warming meetings etc.
Rush was never seen nor listed, but of course I can’t speak for every single year, and they do some times manage to smuggle people in unobserved-like Obama and Hillary.
Many of the so called journalists are included in attendance which is by invitation only along with rich and powerful, royalty, and politicians. The meetings are closed to the public, and no one is supposed to tell anything about what is discussed.
Most of the mainstream media ignores the meeting, and I’d guess that the majority of the people in the world don’t know about it. I thought their next meeting was supposed to be in June, so maybe the Trump upset has them scrabbling for a new game/path to their goals.
Wonder how many pizzas he’ll order
